    As requested, here is a Boundary Question for you guys 😎😎
    I will cover other varieties of this question in further videos, but for this one the fix is this. You CANNOT have two sentences linked by just a comma, or even worse no punctuation. There are many ways to fix this, such as with period, semicolon, colon, or comma + FANBOYS. One way to fix this, whicj too often people forget, is to just make one of the sentences NOT a sentence.
    Watch the video for more details, and lemme know in the comments if you have any questions!

    I was aware of the rule that comma between independent and dependent clause comes when dependent clause comes first. In this case, dependent clause comes second and there is still a need for comma. How is this true? Or do I know things wrong

      The rules are not as simple as dependent clause and indpedent clause. The situations varies on the type of dependent clause, is it prepositional, does it have a conjunction, etc.

    Which subordinating conjunctions need a comma whilst connecting dependant and independent clause midclauses? All of them?

    You said that we can use a comma to separate an independent and dependent clause but isn’t a subordinating conjunction essential for that rule to apply?

    • @SexyJ
      @SexyJ  Před 10 měsíci +2

      "I took a nap, forgetting I had homework." No subordinating conjunction necessary!
