- E.V. Spencer served 5 missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He acted as Captain for 3 companies of immigrants and guided them across the plains. He was part of the rescue effort for the Martin-Willie Handcart companies. He dreamed he could skip general conference in the old Adobe Tabernacle and avoid a mission call. He never felt capable of the callings he was given. The Lord guided and protected him as he travelled thousands of miles to England on his first mission. Avoiding murderous mobs and standing tall amidst overwhelming opposition he converted over one thousand souls to the gospel. He may have been grumpy at times or felt inadequate, but he answered the Lord's call and stepped up to every task before him. This inspirational account will help you know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. God loves YOU.
These stories will Inspire You to seek the Lord in all thy doings ... "Look unto to me in every thought."

Thankyou for sharing this story. George Goddard is my 2nd great grandfather and I can tell you there are hundreds of members that are in his family tree.

Bro Merrill. I love every story you share. I especially love your testimony on this one and the others because I'm sure it is heard and lives inside of many listeners and will in good time cause them to follow your invitation to ask God those questions. I know my inactive daughter hears and takes internally your words.
Thank you for what you're doing.
I feel I am being guided by the Lord. He directs me to subjects and sources. I have had many miracles as I prepare these messages. I know many of God's children need to know. God loves You. Thanks for watching
❤

Thank you so much brother Merrill! You are doing a powerful work for God. You are bringing uplifting, testimony-strengthening, content into a world filled with far too much hate.
Thank you for those sweet words. I am being directed constantly as I research, record & edit these. I am a techno-dinosaur so it takes a lot of guidance. I appreciate you watching

Thank you so much for sharing your stories! I have enjoyed them all. My mother is a WW11 bride from Norwich, England. She joined the church when she was about 13. Just FYI, the W in Norwich is silent. Thank you again, Paula.
I appreciated that. Try as I might I always seem to mispronounce at least 1 name or location every week. I guess my uneducated background is more apparent than I think. Thanks for watching
Thank you so much I know that he loves me , same time I asked if’s there because there’s so much ingested going on and it makes me sad 😢

Hey Brother Merril, I love these and would love to get these stories for myself. Will you start telling us what the name of the book is? I would love to know where to find it. Thank you for these awesome stories!
Most of the stories come from multiple sources. I have found most of the time that all the details for the story are not in one place. But I will start sharing the primary sources. This story primarily comes from "Labors in the Vineyard Eventful Narratives Scraps of Biography Helpful Visions. Various authors Thanks
My aunt showed me your channel about a week ago. Im sad that ive already watched all your videos. I realized i ran out when i went to find the next one. Loved them that much. I appreciate that your humble and have no ego in your messages. I feel your spirit, and enjoy these stories. I had wondered if your native and if so what tribe do you come from? My ancestors are pioneers and my husband is a member if the church for 10 years now. There's so much family history and stories that we love. He loved the pancho villa story since his family comes from mexico. Ide love to hear you tell about meliton gonzalez trejo. ❤
Sorry I missed your comment earlier. Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. I make 2 a week. That keeps me very busy. I get my dark complexion from my Russian mother and my Italian great grand mother. My siblings are all blonde and blue eyed with pale complexion. Do you have more information about Melton Gonzalez Trejo?
@lancemerrill6390
Wow! That is so neat. Meliton gonzalez trejo was the man who translated the book of mormon to Spanish. He has quite a story of sacrifice. It will bring you tears. He is buried in st david arizona not far from where my husband grew up. Ide love to hear you tell the story.
@@krisandigonzales594 I found some good information and printed up 9 pages of notes on Melton's story, thanks
Brother Gonzales, thank you so much for this tip. I have been doing a lot of research into Brother Trejo. I have an awesome episode with his story coming next Wednesday. Thanks again. Spread the word
