In the original Japanese version, dark bakura did actually kill people during that arc. Remember the graveyard episode where he duels the zombie kid? Well, he pretty much...directly sends them to hell. He even says it. Either a grim reaper or some shadow creatures attack them and...yeah. It was creepy as hell when I first saw it.😳
I then wondered how normal bakura didn’t get traumatized from that moment alone. And also thought he should have done that in duelist kingdom when he had their freaking souls in a trap to begin with.🤔
Nonetheless, the scene where bakura says he killed lots of people in abriged ep 63 always makes crack up whenever I see it.🤣

Dartz is the best character in season 4.
This filler arc is arguably one of the worst I have ever seen in anime. And part of what drove me out of watching the original YuGiOh.
As established last season, if one is not specifically allowed by the Egyptian Gods, a duelist is not allowed to use their card in a duel. Remember what happened with Odion when he tried using that forgery of Ra? But somehow a random side villan can now play Obelisk, consequence free?
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. This filler basically just maks shit up without even trying to follow the anime's already ass-backwards logic.
Yeah, season 4s plot is basically making up whatever random bullshit to justify really cool duels, character development and established rules be damned!
I don't know if you was recommended this yet but there's a yugioh abridged movie,I think you should watch before watching season 4
