  • All around the world military forces have started transitioning to the use of unmanned weapon systems.
Currently Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) are a additional supplement for troops but it is clear that Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicles or Armed Robotic vehicles will also replace a lot of traditional roles in the near future.
With the Scropio-M and Scorpio-S by ADASI and the NIMR Ajban Armed Robotic Vehicle the UAE recently added 3 new of these UGVs to the Global arsenal of weapon systems laying the groundwork for the future of ground warfare.

@@youknowme1475 One day you just might be laughing out the other side of your mouth because some autonomous unmanned ground combat vehicle is running over your head after it just shot you. 😉
The rise of artificial intelligence WILL
BE THE DOWN FALL OF MANKIND... Stephen Hawkins
He is absolutely right. Autonomous jet fighter has a software bug given to it by an enemy hacker. The back door opened by a Trojan horse enables the hacker to take control of the unmanned jet fighter. The unmanned shoots down a C17 filled with paratroops about to jump into combat. An unmanned ground combat vehicle open fire on an M1 Abrams tank. The tank is destroyed, and the crew killed. The ripsaw unmanned ground combat vehicle was taken over by the artificial intelligence driven software, cause by ghost code generated by the vehicles on board computer.
These are just 2 of the examples of what could happen is artificial intelligence operated combat vehicles were either taken over by a hacker remotely or if the vehicle started to malfunction and fire on its own at friendly troops.
The United States military wastes trillions of dollars each year developing new combat weapons systems that are becoming too dependent on artificial intelligence to aid in the discision making process inside of the kill chain involving man and machine. And with technology always comes the risk of being unreliable at the most dire of circumstances when troops are in combat.
When will countries like the United States ever learn not to use unproven technologies in combat applicatiins?

    • @olives4143

First of all, taser won’t short circuit the thing. Taser function by firing prongs that have a range of about 10 feet and can barely penetrate clothing to enitiate the shock. 2nd of all u won’t have soldiers carry around an extra payload of paintball bullets and a paintball gun. Paintball bullets also don’t often fly straight over long distances. Why use paintball gun as when u can shoot it’s scopes out with bullets? That’s because it’s an incredibly small target and while ur busy missing ur dead alrdy. Final point, electro magnets need lots of energy to maintain and are very inefficient and costly to keep in the ground for a long time. Y use electro magnets when a anti tank landmine would work the same? And yes I wrote this much cos I’m board af and most of what u wrote did not make sense XD

The United States, Russia and India refused to sign an international treaty limiting the role UGV should have in direct combat missions.
People inside the United States need to be very, very alarmed at the future of unmanned ground vehicles that have total autonomous capability on the battle grounds of the future. The rise of Artificial Intellegence being used in combat applications is morally wrong, and will ultimately be the demise of mankind.
Defense companies need their funding pulled by the department of defense. This applies to any defense company that develops artificial intelligence for employment on any type of battlefield against human beings.
If a country is too afraid to take casualties during times of armed conflict, then perhaps countries like the US do not need to be sending troops into battle.

@@danielschmidt7153 The United States is the bad guy. It always will be. And it was never really the good guy. With a unchecked defense industrial establishment and the fact that the United States government sells massive amounts of technologically advanced weapons systems abroad to countries that eventually become world enemies, the United States has done more since the end of WWII to threaten mankind's existence.
During President Clinton's reign of power at the alarm of many in the senate and in the house the defense industry lobbied to sell several super computers to China and Russia that today enabled both country's to develop advanced technology like artificial intelligence. And this problem even goes back as far as the end of WWII when the good ol' Americans were just dumping advanced technology into Vietnam which the American military hastily abandoned and let the North Vietamese have mostly entact. And then yet again the United States sold advanced weaponry to countries like Iran and Iraq which American forces had to fight against during gulf War 1&2.
Which brings us to today and this video which shows the proliferation of advanced military technology like artificial intelligence to countries that should not be allowed to posses such technology to begin with. Which country will be the first to develop artificial intelligence and use it in a combat role? And when will that technology develop malfunctions that pose a danger to mankind, launching ICBM with doomsday weapons in which the United States is the only country to use such hellish weapons in battle? Only time will tell.

@@vonvomit5666 you watch too many movies. America might have mess up some time but not as bad as russia or any other country. As for artificial intelligence guess what they are not gonna stop people will explore it and it's not going to be the end of the world like many movie would lead you to believe. Stop living in fantasy world where skynet is gonna happen because its not.
By the name von vommit you probably think hitler did nothing wrong and stalin is a Saint.

We must not rely too much on killer robots, it would be dispoyalty and dishonor. Because robots don't have a soul, a heart and they don't know loyalty and honor. Winning wars requires human soldiers who have hearts, souls, and who know loyalty and honor!

@@AnthonyJones-jj7tq that’s the point, to replace people, we don’t need to be sending out infantry to their deaths instead we could use these (you’ll still need people, they just be sent to battle) at least that’s the concept behind this

@@jordi2146 I get what you’re saying. What I’m saying is if the troops are going to be replaced with these machines then why send them to combat in the first place if they won’t be doing anything but watch these machines do everything. It’s stupid. I really don’t see a point in the troops training for combat just to be sent out there and not do their job. It’s like they’re a waste of space.
