@@coolitudeextraordinaire ok but it broke, itâll be hard to refix it as it will break again, so it is rendered unusable. this is still a good way to keep ur cup for longer :)
@@coolitudeextraordinaire no, I just meant, if I ever break a mug beyond repair. Some of us are too clumsy to keep things long enough to grow mold and as a student itâs easier for me to just buy a new mug for a dollar and move on than spending my study time intricately re-attaching the mug.
I love the dimension of the pendant that came from the shape of the cup. It reminds you more that it was once something else than if it was completely flat!
Many years ago I took my broken dishes and made mosaic flower pots. I learned so many better techniques in just watching this short video. I collect blue and white dishes from around the world and sometimes things get broken. You have shone me much better ways to use them, Thanks!!
Thatâs so, so pretty! And youâve actually inspired me to try it out myself. Iâm not quite as talented and seasoned as you, but I sure do plan on getting there.
That is so pretty!!! This is my favorite kind of jewelry aesthetic, a soft, romantic floral moment, very neo-Victorian vibes. I would pair this with a soft white or white and blue flowy dress. I really love this

I love this. Itâs wrong to break an intact antique, but I have one that broke tragically, and now I can bring some life back into the shards by trying this out.
I've seen tile cutters sometimes score along lines, and then when they cut it snaps in that exact place, they scored. Maybe something to look into to make the process more efficient for u.
I know that I'm not the only one who saw the possibilities of what's left of the remaining part of that beautiful cupđ. It was a beautiful pendant too.đ
@@lilamosaics oh good! Of course, thatâs your creative decision! Iâm not judging or anythingâŠ. I just liked them too but Iâm not familiar with the process of cutting a porcelain cup , so I was wondering if it can be saved and used as well.
i woul have shaved the trimmings from the handle and still used the mug as a ceramic cup. more usefil this way instead of destroying a good condition mug.
Itâs a genius minimalist way to keep your favourite mug around a bit longer!
you say that like the cups gonna rot, lol :]

Where can I get the metal pendant form?

Such a beautiful cup. I would have fixed the handle!!
Unfortunately it would have rebroken as you held it up to your lips full of the hottest tea. They are not really fixable.
