I found the hollow knight bossfight so emotional as it’s trying to kill itself to help you win. 10/10 best boss fight
Oh boy. The Hollow Knight. The fight against them is so sad.
1. The reason they stab themselves is to either stop the infection or because the infection hurts that much
2. You didn't try it, but, you cannot dreamnail THK. I wonder what secrets does their mind hide?
3. the explosion at 4:40 looks... Familiar.
4. Failed champion. This boss made me get shadow dash.
5. Since you *almost* never actually die in dream battles, Fragile Strength is super op.
6 to get 112, you need to have all the charms, nail upgrades, spell upgrades, beat the final boss (not HK) and finish the Grimm dlc. You also have to do something in Royal Waterways.
The reason you can’t dream nail the hollow knight is because they have no mind, though in the files there is dream nail dialogue and I’m pretty sure it says father.

Advice: when dodging it’s usually better to dodge towards the boss to dodge through them rather than away from them that will leave you in the boss after the dash finishes IMPORTANT ONLY DODGE TOWARDS THE BOSS WHEN YOU HAVE SHADE DASH

The reason the Hollow Knight stabs himself is the knight's true mind taking control over the Infection. The Knight knows he must be replaced, and tries to help you kill him.
Does he actually take damage from that? Would be a cool detail

@@Wheel-chair- only a little i have a health bar mod and when you attack him during that it just does 1 damage
The game doesn't end at 100%,if you are willing to do it
The true completion is at 112% :)
In that ending, you transform into the Hollow Knight, there are mor endings (Specificly: 5 in total, 4 endings remaining) that is consideretad the bad ending by the community

2 pieces of advice for you
I remember using sharp shadow as much as possible. It makes dodging attacks easier because of 2 factors.
1st, you damage enemies while passing through them.
2nd, you have a longer dash and a higher chance to actually pass through them rather than getting in front of them.
Now for my second advice, I really recommend using quick slash. For some bosses who have an animation to do a big attack, you get a cool down. So you can get in front of them and attack them as much as you can. It also gives you more soul since you're attacking them rapidly and gaining soul. Hope it helps you on other bosses too!
Sharp shadow is a bad charm bosses are built on normal dodge distance so you will now be killed in spots you wouldnt
It’s good in some cases better then the hive blood charm she keeps using for some reason same with dream shield.

If you go into the royal water ways there is someone you can dream nail to get into a whole new world, it has some of the hardest and most fun challenges in the game

Here’s a hint: you can do something in the ancient basin you couldn’t do before.
In this episode Deerbone defeated the hollow knight and became Hollow Bone.
oh btw dewbi i definitely recommend unbreakable strenth or fragile strength as it upgrades the nail greatly quick slash and shaman stone are also good but i don't think you have enough notches
She can now go to Divine. So fragile strength isn't really good. She can now make it unbreakable strength. Also she can go and sell those materials she found before. So she can now get the amount of money she needs for upgrading

Oh yeah, you need to get 1200 essence for a secret area in the hidden station and as for godhome, well may god literally be with you
I'm so surprised at how much you like hiveblood. I always found it annoying because the heal like never goes off fast enough, I usually get hit and then the timer resets. Also it means that if you focus heal then you are losing the free heal you could have got. But if it works for you then it works you know what I mean?
Also my favourite part of this game is that the difficulty curve is very nice, even after killing the hollow knight. only near the very end does it get kinda ridiculous.
Also also, 33 hours for 99% completion is dang impressive for the first run.
Hey well done for completing the game! There's another final boss you should try to defeat if you're up for the challenge...

K so the awoken dreamnail u got helps unlock a dead knight's dream near the hidden station that u couldn't access before just be ready to become deaf

Why is it that when I first fought the hollow night I got him first try, but after getting the void heart, he’s near impossible for me?
Dunno if it was said yet but you missed something big in royal waterways like massive pretty hard to find though it’s through a breakable ceiling.
The hollow knight is very very hard when you play the game the first time but in the game exist the white palace is a place very very very very VERY VERY hard beacuse this place have a zone called path of pain, this zone is the most hard challenge in the all game its impossible... oh and exist a dlc called godmaster in godmaster are ALL bosses of the game also is very hard
Such a good editing, i must say The Hollow Knight fight isn't well portrayed that way buy the music is so good

Also Hiveblood is useful twice in the whole game, it's more slow than your reaction time,
Also AGAIN, the percentage goes to 112%, the "final boss(es)" both have stronger versions, AFTER 112%, there is an extra challenge to beat every single boss, it gives an ending, we demand seeing that.

I defeated him first try. But I don't know why I can't deal with Grimm troup..
Final boss of the grim troupe is harder than any other non god home boss
you just need to get in the rhythm of his attacks, understand his attacks so you can dodge. basically just go in there, dont attack, only dodge. do it until you understand them and dodging attacks is easy then you can fight him

I have 112% I only really have 5th pantheon left to do in the game then I’m done cuz that is the only achievement I don’t have.
