On the other island with the abandoned bases, you could scan the bigger rooms so that you could add them to your own base. Not super important, but they give you a lot more room for storage and you can add a bioreactor to give you more power. Also, when you go to the aurora, you’ll want to bring a repair tool, scanner, knife, and laser cutter, at least. This is one of my favorite games and I’m really enjoying your series on it so far.

if you don't want to deal with oxygen depth problems, i would suggest getting the rebreather, but it will not work in radioactive areas. if you don't want to come into contact with the reaper at the front of the ship, just stay at the surface and at least have a seaglide☺

OMG, where do you get these thumbnails? 😍 Even the scary Reaper and those nasty Warpers look adorable 😃 Subnautica is such a great game to experience I wouldn't want to spoil anything, but this is more for convenience and time saving: when you are on land try and forage a bit. There should be edible stuff to replenish your food and fluid needs, so you don't have to run back and forth just for some munchies :)
