My sweetie and I pick up illegal dump sites and litter on the highway with a local citizens group here in rural northern California, and it feels wonderful when other people show their appreciation by paying for the landfill fees or throwing us a barbecue at the park. +Stingrayshark nope it was the drunk fisherman next to them in the tent. All new camping stuff out of the box… it got very windy one day and it blew everywhere. I picked it up once and left it in a pile all consolidated in an empty box 🤷♀️at least they took that with them

Another unexpected gem is Mt Charleston just an hour north of Las Vegas. Beautiful mountain community amongst a pine forest, ski lift, restaurant, hotel, park, hiking trails.
That water looked heavenly! So glad Roodle didn’t tangle with a real rattler! Freckles says she is finally on the mend from her near death experience and so am I, though I will never forget it! Take care and see you down the road!
So glad you both are okay! How scary was that! We keep thinking about enrolling Roodle into rattlesnake school (how to avoid them) but then neither one of us wants to take him to school 😂😂😂
I found this spring on a road map, trying to keep this place a secret! Have gone 4,5 times. My favorite hot springs in Nevada!
Awesome underwater view and Roodle Swimming! My Dad was a geophysical engineer who used to explore those amazing Nevada Hot Springs areas back in the 1950’s! It’s always great to find those special campground amenities ~ and Free! Wow!
Listening further ~ You are Superb Environmental Helpers! For the occasional ‘bad campers’ I was so happy during my RV years to meet others like You Two who were going ‘above and beyond’ to help keep areas cleaner and wildlife safer. 👏🏻👍🏻

As an avid camper and hiker, I very much enjoyed watching your capturing this beautiful part of our nation. It has excellent content with great detail. I commend and respect you both, a happy couple, for picking up trash in your journey and as a reminder for others to do their due diligence as a courtesy for the environment and other campers. When we saw the drone shots we thought what a great place we should visit. Then when you did the reservoir bird and underwater shots we knew we'll HAVE TO go here! We even found out our son was there in 2021. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Wow, what an amazing place. So beautiful. Out in no where such à beautiful campground. So peacefull....until the holiday week-end. Can't believe a generator for the whole time. We were at a spot where generators were allowed 30 min at meal time only.

Beautiful!! Underwater videos are always a real bonus 😊. The bird song was amazing. First time seeing a yellow headed blackbird!! Thanks for that!! You need one of those big viewing scopes. Do some birding videos for us bird lovers. One of my "dreams", if I could go on the road, is to follow the spring and fall migrations on each of the major migratory flyways for a few years. What an amazing experience that would be. 😁
I puzzle over what enjoyment those weekend warriors get out of spending money on a rig, going to a great campsite, staying drunk, and making a big mess and alot of obnoxious commotion for 3 days. How much awareness or appreciation do they even have of their surroundings? I mean, just go to a bar, have a big cookout in the back yard, throw all the trash and spare socks around, then pass out and sleep it off in your own bed. To each their own. They got some fresh air and Vit D. ??? 🙄

I do need a big viewing scope! It especially difficult in a kayak that is moving. I’m also nervous about taking my DSLR cameras kayaking with me!

Outside of Wendover Nevada there is a small warm lake that is used for scuba diving. Theres a platform down there, and a boat and ddirection signs. I never got to travel to dive out of the country to scuba with my late husband but we did this trip and saw shows at the casinos...it was great❤

Another beautiful campground ⛺️ we love our west the landscape is always changing. The hot water spring is so beautiful. Jane and I will definitely make this trip here. Hopefully during the week as we don’t want to hear a generator 24/7 on the weekend. Be safe be humble. Your channel has matured into a fabulous community.

There is one question that tells me a lot about a person. That question is - when you are in mother nature or a pristine area and saw a piece of garbage would you pick it up? That question involves a lot of honesty. Either you’re the person that put it there or you’re the person that picks it up.

I love to travel, but I don’t like doing it alone so I watch the videos and my health does prevent me from doing a lot of things I used to, but your channel is amazing, I love your aerials and you’re underwater videos, man you do such a great job with amazing music, so thank you for taking me along.

Love this part of NV. The wife and I came here to see the neowise comet a few years ago and camped for a few nights. We lucked out as the whole time we were there, it was us, the camp host, and one other rv. The springs weren’t super hot, (not great for being there in sept, but still gorgeous). Something about the remoteness of these parts of Nevada is so calming.

Thanks for picking up trash! We broke down in Lund on our way to Ely and got stuck in Nevada for 3 weeks. Also check out Cave Lake in Ely, Angel Lake near Wells and Lamoille valley near Elko. All beautiful areas.

We have friends in Nevada and hopefully soon we’ll go visit… and now I’ve got an adventure idea while there!!!
Oh and I love to see y’all cleaning up after the others! That navy guy was really great in offering to pack it out! It’s always been the rule for me to leave where you’ve been better than you left it, if reasonably possible. Oh, and the day that people leave a campground is a great day to find things like pocket knives and forgotten tent stakes.. I’m a tent camper and spare stakes are welcome!
In fact nearly 25 years ago my former wife and I were out camping and someone tossed out a vertical duffel bag that I use to this day to stuff my tent, pillow, ground cloth, sleeping bag, etc… it was an amazing score!
Nevada is amazing! Dave iS ALWAYS picking up trash and yes…. He finds quite a few knives. We were VERY happy he took the trash…. We are extremely limited on space.
