I already uploaded this video yesterday, but I didn't notice the video editor scaled the video to a terrible size. Apologies, I am working at getting better with video editing.

Much easier to see in this version. Thanks!

I’m in the process of buying the 5KW growatt units and this 11 KW transformer to replace my 2 EG4 6kw split phase units which have gave me nothing but problems for three months now
So this is a big help thanks

I am glad my videos can be helpful. There is more to come. This system is about to be setup for production usage. Is that something you would be interested in seeing?

Interesting use of available technologies for off grid safety.

nice video, one question though does the Voltage Current Protector Voltage Protective Device keep its settings when power is cut or does it reset to default? TIA

Question about the Autotransformer. Are there instructions to use it for step-up 120v to 120v/240v? I could use Victron for this use case but those are pretty expensive.

I don't have any info on that, and I don't think they are rated for that use case.

I'm just now getting ready to commission my of grid system. I'm using 3 of the growatt 5000 ES inverters. How do i get all of the 240 V inverters into 120 V split phase. Would i have to get a separate auto transformer (say a 5000 watt split tr as nð dfor all three and install this neutral protection ckt in all three?

You would just parallel them all. I did a video on it.

Great Video! What type of relay are you using, do you have a parts list you could share? Thanks for the video!

Here is the voltage protection relay. You may be tempted to put it inline because it says it's rated for many amps. Don't do this. Use a listed contactor and use this relay to drive the control side of that contactor.

IS THAT A STEP DOWN TO 120 TRANSFORMER?

NO... ALSO WHY ARE YOU YELLING

@@BecomingOffgrid sorry for yelling. what I'm asking is, can I get 120 volt on one leg and another 120 volt on the other? my inverter puts out 240 no split phase. Can Growatt 5000ES | Growatt 11.4KW Autotransformer split it up for me?
