Many koreans think their skin is really sensitive therefore companies make products very very mild and suitable for any skin types so it makes sense why u thought products like klairs toner(white one) didnt come up with a dramatic outcome. However, if u try them everyday and for a long period they would definitely change your skin in a good way!!
Korean is all about being gentle while achieving baby skin. That's why i trust them more ❤️
I like that philosophy. I could have had much better teenage skin if I had used gentler products, even though I was experiencing acne.
As an oily sensitive acne prone skin, I'm really thankful for kbeauty products. Its not only giving me so many options to choose from which I never had in my life, it's also inspiring some new brands in my country bcus of kbeauty's growing popularity here. Plus my skin is not stretchy and dull in winter anymore or like a pan of oil in summer.
This is definitely true with the PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream the ONLY product that has restored my barrier!!
Its also so much about prevention rather than cure, people in the West only care about skincare once a problem occurs.

99.99999999% of Kelly Driscoll’s recommendations are life changing for me. Probably because they’re fragrance free, essential oil free and very skin barrier friendly. Her channel is mostly centered around k-beauty skincare and her tips and product recommendations are actually amazing. You guys should get in touch, I think you’d have A LOT to discuss and I think you’d both love it. Also you’re both very positive and uplifting!! we have shelly nayak (indian youtuber) who is also sharing her reviews about korean products, and she loves them very much, since we do have a big market, korean products has changed lives and the perception about hydration and moisturisation which is very important...
Another honest influencer is Kelly Driscoll. She has dry skin and is all about hydration. She is extremely educational about products. James Welsh introduced me to her as she is featured on one of his videos that he does with her. I would highly recommend her because she loves K Beauty.

I recently found Kelly Driscoll’s channel and she made me fall in love with k beauty. I’ve made multiple orders from YesStyle and western skincare just does not compare. My typically very dehydrated tret skin has never been less irritated or more happy. So far I particularly love the Dear Klairs fundamental line, the Keep Cool and Soothe toner, the CosRX panthenol cream, and the Purito unscented sunscreen. So excited to see more k beauty on some of my favorite channels!

After going through Korean skincare brands, one do realize why most Koreans have such great skin apart from genetics, geographical factors. And boy they are inexpensive. Yes, love the Purito unscented Sunscreen - one of the few chemical sunscreen that does not sting my eyes 😀
I'm interested in Purito too. I tried the unscented sunscreen which feels amazing. I'm curious about their other products. They seem to have such quality ingredients and good prices.
I think it might be one of my favorite brands. I tried their sunscreens first, and now I'm several days into use their Purito Unscented Centella Serum. I'm already seeing an improvement in skin irritation; I have problems with redness and I believe I may have mild rosacea. I noticed they recently updated the formulas of several products, like the Unscented Centella Toner. They took out the witch hazel to make it even more skin friendly.

I had severe closed comedones all over my face and I literally tried EVERYTHING but it didn’t just go away ... then I tried the cosrx whitehead power liquid with no hopes BUT😭😭😭😭😭I can literally see my acne fading away within 2 weeks of usage ... I can’t tell how happy I am❤️❤️❤️kbeauty and cosrx specifically is loveeeee❤️🥺

I'm not a big social media's person, but ever since I've started watching your videos I've had an urge to take care of my skin and get a step closer to loving myself from inside out. I have cystic hormonal acne and I know the product says that it won’t work on deep acne.. but they work. 3 days and my pimple is gone when it would have taken 2 weeks otherwise. Soooooo useful for stopping picking
I love the hada labo premium lotion (gold packaging) and the etude house soon jung moisturizer in the tube. Also you should look into the brand iunik, I love their propolis vitamin synergy serum! I have sensitive skin and dry skin and these work amazingly. 🧡
The klairs vitamin c serum along w/ the vitamin e moisture mask work so well together for me🥺 the glow my skin had from these products is unmatched.

Funnily enough most Korean skincare has never worked for me. I may have another try with some of these products you have mentioned though. I absolutely love Japanese skincare though. You should definitely try some j-beauty out! Love the sunscreens, cleansers, lotions, moisturisers...

I've been using the 'tingly' Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C drops for a couple of years. As one of your older viewers, firming things up and getting rid of discoloration is REALLY important to me. It has improved my skin significantly and it's my daily secret weapon against spots on the backs of my hands! You are right about it needing to be in a dark container, because it starts turning yellow well before I finish a bottle.
You could bye a colored bottle for a few bucks and put the serum in there :)

I put it in the fridge and it doesn’t change color. You can also wrap it with the aluminum foil if you don’t want to refrigerate it .
I put mine in the fridge. Its so cool when u apply it.

Tip: I use my vitamin C dear Klairs on my feet When it becomes discolored. Makes my feet sooooo soft. Last time I think I had over 6 months before it turned "bad".

As someone who has been using the Dear Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil for about 9 months already, I must say it is not really "fragrance free" because it contains essential oils. It does smell like a spa tho. I did start using it a bit scared, since I have sensitive acne-prone skin, but I think James was right and it did help a lot with reducing my sebum production, which in time helped me with keeping my skin clear from acne for longer periods of time, and even get less cystic acne.
I am happy it does not contain any acids, especially salicylic acid, since I seem to be sensitive to it.
My skin gets irritated to the level of sharp pain, by using it. It's not easy to find good products for acne-prone skin if you are avoiding salicylic acid.
I do want to let people know that Dear Klairs **just launched an new version to the oil** that looks almost like that one, but contains no essential oils.
Haven't tried it yet since I didn't finish the bottle of this one, But if the essential oils are a problem you might want to try this one out. It's called Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil, and I understand this one IS fragrance free, and much lighter.

I could not find any low priced sunscreen or moisturizer that worked for my skin until I tried some korean ones and I can't imagine what I'll do if one day I can't reorder them for whatever reason... you never know what the future holds. Some of my favorite skincare items are not korean, but I seriously can't live without korean skincare.

It's really important to emphasize that just like western skincare, kbeauty has great and not so great brands too. Example are brands like laneige, mamonde, innisfree, etude house, etc where most products have tons of essential oils and fragrance
If you are interested in K beauty, check out Kelly Driscoll. She I Skin is more dehydrated and dry than yours and so it tends to go for richer products but she does deal with acne and is all about fragrance free, barrier supportive, sensitive skin friendly products.

Love love love k-beauty. Hyram had a box with wishtrend with a skincare routine for the fall. I got it and I love the mandelic acid toner. But so far, the product I love the most is the I'm from honey mask. This is absolutely a must try. It works wonders for painful pimples and my skin is softer than ever.
the klairs vitamin c drops are a go to for Star Puppy. I don't know exactly what her skin tone is, but she did say she has skin on the oilier side, she has a video about the products she uses, and the vitamin c drops are her favorite
Eunni which is the host of the wishtrend channel has her own channel, she is freaking amazing. And Kelly Driscoll is also super duper awesome! I highly recommend checking them out as well. I watch and love everyone you mentioned, when you have time check those 2 out also!
I am a huge fan of yours as well. We have almost identical skin types (lots of acne for yearssss) and k beauty has helped me by keeping me hydrated while using my acne topicals. ;)
PS- the most recent klairs cleansing oil is the one I have been eyeballing. The old version I loved but it did not agree with my acne skin.

I have completely switched to Korean skincare and I wish I would have done it years ago! Their SPF is incredible!! I will not be using western skincare unless something epic happens. I was able to order through YesStyle during the height (June) of the import backlog.

K beauty brand user for over a year now. Love love love. I can not say enough good things. Once you learn your skin type and what you need it is really to find what you need. Try Thank You farmer rice clay to foam cleaner, it helped with my large dirty pores. Klairs is the best!! I love their night midnight blue calming cream with my pink skin! I am 40 and have always used a moisturizer, but K beauty brands are on a next level.

I love Purito nearly as much as the Ordinary especially since they came out with EO and fragrance free versions. It is cruelty free, but I don't think it's sold by wishtrend. I usually get my korean products through Yesstyle.

Ouuuf please be careful if u try the 7 steps with the toner. Personally , it broke me out really badly (combo skin).
Do max 2 layers for like a week , if its not breaking u out, add another layer and see if its fine or not, keep going slowly so u dont end up like me and my broken acid mantle :')
