  • Patients will sometimes come in and be nervous about the injections or treatment they are wanting to get.
Our patients' comfort is one of our top priorities and we do a bunch of things to try and make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Dr. Chiang's new medical assistant, Jennifer, explains the different ways we can numb before a treatment.
Most of the time we may only need numbing cream, but we also use an ice ball to help numb the area further and a massage wand to distract from the pain as well.
Sometimes more numbing is needed and that’s where nerve blocker injections can be used, again, we only use them if needed.
Let us know what else you would like to know about our practice or treatments in the comments!
