All zao is tight and awake is one of their best records. I think people do the same thing to poison the well. they create the mold for metalcore when they were younger and then are never expected to grow from that, and if they do, all of a sudden they suck.

I stopped following this band after a while. This is the band that got me into heavy music since middle school. I'm 30 now, I even did my drum recital to Savannah. But this this music lacks conviction, this isn't the zao I knew and loved - this whole album just doesn't feel right

Agreed, they were the first "heavy" band I heard while my friends were listening to shit like Slipknot and HIM, while ZAO blew me away.
