- Review of the ultra-modern futuristic carbon fiber hammock bathtub in the Presidential Suite at Boutiquehotel Staats in Haarlem, Netherlands. This hotel is about 30 minutes from Amsterdam and is absolutely amazing. Very luxurious, and this suite is super sexy. As far as I know, this is the only place in the world that has this tub, and I tried it out for you!

I just saw this tub on tiktok and had to see if there was a review! Thank you for your service!
Happy to help! I think this is the only actual real-person review of it in existence!
I love seeing a practical review of this overpriced tub. This is how real people use it, and sure it looks great, but using it everyday would be a pain lol. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the review! I don't regret paying to experience it for one night, but it is definitely not a relaxing spa sort of tub that'd I'd want on vacation.
Thats a crazy tub and until you were sitting in it, I didnt even think it filled up that much!
It really didn't fill up much at all!
Seen this on IG and looked for a review.. thank you!
This was INCREDIBLE I am DYING 😂👌
Love this super honest review of this incredibly stupid bathtub.
Thank you! Incredibly stupid is accurate. Also incredibly stylish. This is definitely a form vs function debate!
You can get it at Home Depot and Wayfair both online. Price $3,003.
That's less than I expected for the tub. The installation is probably going to cost at least twice that, since essentially the entire room has to be built around the length of the tub.
It's a cool design. I'm not sure how tall you are(I'll just assume six foot) but this could be a problem for taller people lmao
The price isn't selling me either. There are custom carbon fiber shops that could take this design and customize it to the customer's needs for much less.
Personally, I would drop the support heights on each side to decrease the amount of slope so you can actually lay down properly. They likely went with those heights to create less laterall stress on the tub while still keeping the tub close enough to the ground to be comfortably accessible.
I appreciate the thought of a carbon fiber only tub, but for practical purposes I would make a simple top rim and ladderal support skeleton with high grade aluminum for the carbon fiber body to encase. By doing this, any weight added to the tub will be even distributed and reduce the amount of stress points on the carbon fiber body. With the ridgid aluminum inside, you could drop the mounting heights and slope of each side of the tub to create a much more practical and comfortable feel to it.
They could have provided an optional low profile silicone support that would grip onto the tub surface face and easily be adjusted by the user for a little seat, lumbar support. They could definitely increase the QOL aspects of this design all while keeping the sleek look of the tub.
Using a combination of aluminum, high density foam/insulation underneath the carbon fiber shell might even reduce the manufacturing costs which would allow them to reduce the asking price of the tub, increasing the range of their market accessibility slightly.
Wow, thanks for the detailed and knowledgeable comment! I'm only 5'7, so this tub would be much more uncomfortable for taller people.
Awesome bro, you stay at some pretty cool places. 👍 tub does look a bit awkward to be In lol.
Great hotel, ive been there last year. The rooms are designed really nice. Seeing your video makes me remember the scent of the hotel perfume 😂
Yes, it did have a distinctive scent! And I would definitely like to check out some of the other themed rooms.
What if you had was one the other ever would it differ
skip to 2:28 but after that, this is a fantastic review...
Is this a belenciaga bathtub?
I thought so. Not practical but pretty
Quite the banana hammock.
Call my crazy but all I want to do is lay down in a tub and relax which it seems perfectly fine for. Books? iPads? Wtf?
Form over function
Cool, I dunno, it my delaminate like a sub.
God bless.
Lol this is great
Thanks!
Thank you for showing this tub..😂.. I was so wondering..
Pretty lame eh..
It sure looks cool, but yeah, entirely impractical as an actual bath tub.
Definitely needs to be wider, deeper and have some sort of attachable pillow to be functional.
Very stereotypically rich people madness 😂
Death tub. Lol
Why do you need to read a book? Relax tho
In a normal tub session I'm spending a good few hours between pure relaxation, reading a book, or watching mindless reality TV/CZcams. In this tub... not so much. Part of the relaxation is actually having the majority of my body covered by the warm water!
It would have been better watching you (fully clothed) get in and out. Also you can’t adjust the water from the tub very silly fad tub
Well that wouldn't have been anywhere near as fun for me! And yes, you can adjust the water from the tub on this one. You can see more clearly when I lay down that the spout and controls are right next to the tub.
Lmao nice review
