It's... complicated. Kings of England were usually Lords and later Kings of Ireland up until 1937 or 1949 (take your pick), so any princes or dukes from Ireland who went on crusades were Plantagenets who either had only been to Dublin Castle or to lands in the south-east which were considered "tame". They would have had other lands in England or (until John "Lackland"), France.

Mais est ce que c'est juste une décision de la part des gens qui interprètent cette chanson (Early Music Consort of London) ou est ce que l'on parlait vraiment comme ca à l'époque? J'ai l'impression qu'ils ont appliqué la logique du latin classique à un texte de vieux Français du XIIe, alors que à l'époque, il y avait déjà un paquet de consommes et de voyelles qu'on ne prononçait plus d'après ce que je peux voir sur l'histoire de la prononciation du Français.

je ne suis pas royaliste, je me qualifierais plus de bonapartiste, mais ce chant est juste une pure merveille, un chant qui prend aux tripe au même niveau que le chant de Saint Louis.
