At metaphase, 46 chromosomes lie in metaphasic plate.
At anaphase, these 46 chromosomes split, causing 92 chromosomes.
At telophase, 46 out of 92 chromosomes at one pole & remaining 46 at other pole. Nuclear membrane forms around each 46 chromosomes at each pole.
So, the cell has 92 chromosome but each nucleus has 46 chromosome.
