Moza R5 with Brook adapter is not good for GT7

I finally have a chance to try Moza R5 with GT7 in PS4 using Brook adapter and it's disappointing. Watch the video to find out why. I have not try other Game on PS4 because most people racing on PS is gonna play GT7 anyway.

Thanks for sharing. I agree Moza should have never said console compatibility is coming. Not having the options for console is the main real downside for the R5.

Exactly what I get with R9 + Brook Ras1lution 2. No setting can fix the oscillation. And the issue seems to be because Brook presents itself as a G29. If they could make it mimic a DD wheel or even belt-driven Thrustmaster it could fix the issue.
Geek street has a video with this adapter and had no issue on gt7. But he was on ps5 so maybe that’s why
@@racdude01the issue is still present on PS5 as it’s seen as a G27/29. Some adjust settings to make it “decent” but it’s still garbage.

No,I'm not attacking Moza. This video is make to address some believe that Moza R5 with Brook adapter will perform just like using Fanatec GT DDpro in GT7. No it's not. Because Moza R5 connect to PS4 using Brook is just G29 with Direct Drive motor.
I tried the brook ras1ution 2 for my moza r9 on ps5 and while playing GT7 the FFB would dissapear after 2 minutes of gameplay, and the only way to bring back the FFB was to reset the PS5.
You need to change settings in brook to console you are using and put ff on max and update firmware you have compatibility on their site
Brook Ras1lution 2 from my experience will not work on PS5 with GT7. It was a waste of money. My Moza wheel works fine with a PC, so the wheel is not the problem. Hopefully, Moxa will get official console support soon.

Already sold it so I have no idea of how it is right now. But if it still use G29 driver I doubt it will be any different

Brook for PS4 should be a different red model
This model work with PS4 and PS5. This is a newer model
It seems to work with gt7 on ps5 so maybe it’s a ps4 issue
It doesn’t really work on PS5 though. The PS5 sees it as a Logitech G27/29 using the gear driven profile instead of a DD profile. It’s terrible.
@@liquidsk8s i mean it’s still probably better than spending the money on a G29 or buying different equipment for each console. Though from I can tell the best solution is a Gimex setup instead of the Ras
@@racdude01 gimex will have the same issue. The problem is GT7 doesn’t have a FFB profile for Moza. So no matter what you do, it will be using a Logitech emulation.
@@liquidsk8s yes it still uses the Logitech profile but all that means is u may not get the full potential of the Moza but should still be a better experience than just using an actual Logitech. And atleast with the gimex you don’t get the oscillation issues

the gt7 game only uses 280 derees of roataion on any wheel
I don't think so. The hand animation might how that is the maximum but it actaully go further than that. 540degree and 900 degree on some car
