They know Far cry 3 was their masterpiece, understandably number 4 and 5 just couldn't live upto how good 3 was, so they did the smartest thing possible, make another far cry 3 but better.
Well considering this game, primal, 4 and 5 are basically just re-skins of 3 that's not a surprise.

True:-) im really looking forward to FC6 :-) its a mix of FC2 and FC3 absolutely; even the starting weapons seem to be a FAL = right arm of the free world or an an AK47 = most succesfull AR= AssaultRilfe of the world. Both ARs are really devastating and cheap.

Bringing back the healing animations from fc2 is the most innovative thing that ubisoft has done in a decade. Hope they bring more oldschool things from their past games into their new games

yeah, like fixing the crappy co-op play, the rubber banding, no mission creds if your not the host, etc. etc.
Ya, this game seems to take them back to their roots a lot more. FC5 was fun, but it just didn't quite feel like Far Cry.

Thank you. This was enough to convince me that I don't need to play this rehash of every Far Cry game so far with not much new except the setting.
Ok fair point that it’s not much different, but let’s be real here. What else could we possibly ask for? I for one am satisfied with the much better graphics(something that I didn’t expect to be so much better), better melee kills compared to fc5 and also happy with the villain. So let me know what it is you expected that would’ve actually convinced you to play it?
That formula works great for cod too.. And just cause.. And uncharted.. Huh.. Pretty bad idea I guess.
@@SyntaxError-nz4kg I think an infiltration option would have been a major plus to the story. A higher level of difficulty taking the antagonist down from within could have really added a level of complexity to the story. The mindless AI could be improved as well. You can only take down so many outposts before you learn the AI behaviors and start losing interest due to the lack of challenge it presents.
This is just an opinion. I am also at a burnout point with normal game formulas, and really desire something new.

Well its far cry mate what did you expect.
Far Cry is a "comfort food" series- it hardly ever innovates. If you need huge changes to each successive entry in order to get interested, you probably haven't played one since FC2, or maybe 3. These games are always just slight evolutions from the proceeding title, which sounds awful but something about the format just works for me. We all have guilty pleasures- Far Cry is definitely one of them

@@omglordluca8914 I don't think it's a big deal, considering that the health bars are optional. The most egregious thing about New Dawn was the RPG-esque leveling system, which does not seem to be a thing in Far Cry 6.

I really think they don't get what the point of the game should be, I'd rather be earning items throughout the game instead of getting everything except skins almost 2 mins into the game it seems. And also the creating weapons one is weird Idk why they include that in every game..
There is no progressing if all you get is skins so I must disagree with all the hype, let me know what your opinions are about that because I think this is why I wouldn't strive to play FC6 at all..
@@mihaelh6783 what do you mean "they don't get the point of the game" it's their game, they can make the point of it anything they please. And you don't get everything 2min into the game, you get a base mechanic (like the jetpack) that you can add perks and upgrades to as you progress through the game.

I feel his full potential would be better utilized with a better developer. Now if this was Ubisoft back in the Early AC and Farcry days, I would have a different opinion as they had a little more soul behind their games.

This game brings you back a lot of that old far cry 3 immersion imo, love it. And also i like how this series always stays to their game state where you burn plant/weeds , skinning, etc. We'll see if this game is going to get the players kidnap again aswell lmao

Ubisoft have somewhat redeemed themselves. I have been so hyped with this game. I finished far cry 3 and 5 and really had fun with them both. Seeing the gross healing animations back is also great.
You should play 4, its like 3 but in a much nicer world in my opinion and has some really cool mechanics that 3 didnt have. 4 is my fav in the series, and alltho 5 was fun, the sotry was pretty abd and the world seemed weird af, I hope its better this time around

Honestly this looks like a really great stepforward, there wasnt much variation in FC5 outposts, just little towns and farms for the most part, this is going to have camps, big infiltration bases, cities and the fact that theres boats really impressed me, kinda wish Far Cry 3 had more outpost on water
If you liked 5 you will like most Farcry games going forward. Ubispft is great at releasing basically the same game on a different map.

I won't lie, this game reminds me of Far Cry 3. I don't know if I like the look of it enough to buy it though. Far Cry games are super fun to play right up until you finish the story. If there's NG+, I might get it.

Every time I think I've seen the best Modest Pelican vid, I'm corrected. This one is the new best. I was speaking with some Pelicans in game though and they said they'd wished you'd have spent more time w them.
