  • Hello Everyone! Aeglos has been on my to-do list for several years now, and I started it the several months ago, but had to put the project aside because I was working tech for one of our shows, and then several of us ended up getting sick (not Covid, just a virus). So, here we go several weeks later, but finally finished!
The spear is 9 feet long! 9 feet doesn't sound like a lot, but when it's assembled it's massive and IMPRESSIVE! I designed this spear using AutoCAD & Blender, and then printed the 13 pieces on my Ender 3 Pro. You will need a 5'4" long piece of 1/2" PVC pipe as the support for the spear shaft, and 3 pieces of 1/4" wooden dowel as the supports for the spear blade. (They measure: 5", 10.5", & 11.5").

Yes it is huge! When you say 9' it doesn't seem like it's that large, but when the spears assembled it masssive!

I don't know how you do it! The design is spot on and looks like it crawled off of the set. Great job!

Buddy, I continue to be amazed by your sheer talent with designing & painting. 3D rendering is an art in itself, and your paintjobs elevate your pieces far above the rest. This one is especially impressive. Just watching this video was insanely satisfying. Amazing work. 👏👏👏

Thank you!!! I do sell finished items, but this one would be costly to ship, because the spear shaft is 6 feet long and there's no other way to send it completely finished. Thank you again!

Cheers! Thank you so much! I use AutoCAD to build a general shape, then I take that file and load it in Blender and sculpt all the details, and then print. Thanks again!
