- Roger Gehrig sings and plays the aria “Una furtiva lagrima” of the Italian Opera “L’elisir d’amore” by Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848). In the Opera the aria is sung by Nemorino who is in love with Adina. But she is not interested in a relationship with him. To win her heart, Nemorino buys a love elixir … “Una furtiva lagrima” is the romanza from the act 2, scene 8.
