He speaks with a ton of maturity. He plays with it on the ice aswell. Excited to watch this kids career and I hope he's a Leaf for a long time!
I love this guy. He's got a good future and I'm happy he's in a leaf uniform
Love this kid! Here's to hoping our Leafs can have that miracle run
Gracious kid, sure makes you want to root for him.
Interesting fact. The Leafs have never lost a playoff series with Matthew Knies in the lineup 🤫
They've only lost 1 game 7-1
20 years old, going to be a great player
!
Gracous Young Man
Humble. Best Wishes
For Success 🏆

such a shame that he’s gonna be out of the next games after that move from bennett, felt like he was bringing great energy to the leafs :(
He will be a 1st liner, possibly with an assistant captain before his career is done.
I hope he recovers well from his concussion and that they don't play him to quickly (although if the Leafs go out in 4 they won't have to worry about that)
Love this guy. So glad he's playing for us, he's been great since day one 💙🤍
I hope Matthew is OK today. The Panther’s gooned him more than once last night at the beginning of the game. They seemed to be targeting him. Very concerned for Matthew this morning.
My junior hockey coach and his staff said the same thing the other night when we were watching it. They clearly had their sights set on him, they wanted to take him out early, they saw him as a threat.
Too bad Florida decided to be grime behind the net away from the puck and injure the kid. He's been incredible
No call on the play, naturally. I expect nothing from DOPS as well
Let’s remember that Matthew Knies is only 20 years old. However, he presents himself as an intelligent, professional and thoughtful person not to mention an excellent hockey player. I wish him all the best.
Great start, too bad Bennett gives him a concussion and not even a penalty
I haven't watched the video yet but I'm sure them throwing "Be the best" in the thumbnail is some obvious clickbait
I bet he'll score the cup winning goal. Watch. 😅
why doesn't he have his own house wtf?
He is 20 years old, in a new city, playing for one of the biggest teams in the NHL.
Crosby did the same thing, he moved in with Lemieux for a few years.
It helps him take the focus off of worrying about things while he's playing. No doubt his parents are helping him find a home, while they're staying at JT's place.
He signed with Toronto for 3 years, so I'm sure they also asked someone, JT to take him under his wings for the first year.
Don't be so quick to judge, think a little.
@@CinHalCedHerChance that's weird I don't care what anyone says , he's a man making a lot of money, get a nice apartment
@@mrcool76789 Maybe land real estate is what his parents (who are very smart people) and the Leafs front office recommended if he's signed for 3 years.
If this bothers you, I can't imagine how other serious things in life get to you. lol
@@mrcool76789 Rookies almost always stay with an older teammate not because they can't afford their own house but because they need to learn how to be a professional in the nhl. That 1 year is huge in the development of a young mind.
@@siddiq106 still weird
