I sang this as a child some 50 years ago and this is lifted me so today. God is Good.
I heard this song for the first time as a teenager and have loved it ever since.
We sang yesterday at the Lord's Day at Trinity Baptist Church, Nairobi...It's rich with doctrine and encouragement.
So did I, sir. Because it realized we are the sons and daughters of God and he always abides by us.

This one is one of my favorite song. Closing my eyes and singing it. I can visualize myself singing with my whole family in the present of all might wonderful God in heaven. Our Lord in an awesome God.

Your father is in my prayers Harry (Kim Yoon) I'll be so glad when this world is out of the hands of the lost and evil. There is a special place reserved in heaven for your father. There was no greater persecutor of the early church than Saul of Tarsus. Jesus stopped him in his tracks, revealed the mystery of the gospel to him and called him to be an apostle and make known the mystery to the gentiles. It is because of the same Holy Spirit power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated him in heavenly places, who now works in us, that we can echo the apostle Paul and sing, “I know whom I have believed...”. Jesus said “those who are not for me are against me.” It was while we were dead in our own trespasses and sins that Christ died for us. Do not loose heart; keep looking up to the author and finisher of our faith and I will certainly pray for you father that he meets the risen ascended Saviour, repents of sin, believes in his heart and confesses with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. In doing so he will be saved to the praise of God’s glory.

The old hymns are so much better they glorified God, called sinners to repent and teach God's word, the new songs are vary shallow and lack the deep hold on doctrine.
