The bike was great before, i can't imagine now, in the mountains is fun like no other. It has only one flaw, serious at least for me, the vibrations on the handlebars. Nice review again. As usual always fun to watch.
What is it with all these manufacturers and all these safety features on their motorcycles. These only give the riders the false impression of safety. The more safety features the more the rider (a lot of them) will search for the boundaries. Not their boundaries but the motorcycles boundaries. Which could leave them in the dust.
My last motorcycle with (already aged) safety features was an MT-10, first model year. Now I own a 2019 Fat Boy and will soon be owning a Honda CBR1100XX as a second bike.
The latter only has a catalytic converter for the safety of the environment.

Nice video. I wasnt sure which bike I should buy (S1000 or M1000). For me it was the M1000R finally, because the difference between S and M isn‘t that big (in Germany) if you pick the M-Package (which really makes sense for me to pick it as an extra). With dynamic- and comfortpackage you reach a pricetag >21.000 Euro. So for about 1000-1200 Euro more I get all these features in the M-version + 45 PS more + ShiftCamTechnology. I guess both bikes are phantastic and if you don‘t need all the packages is S1000R is a great choice, too.

where you are on the road and for the country road in general, the bike is pearls before swine thrown and the normal s1000r is here basically not a bit worse. You also have to leave the church in the village ... the M1000r is primarily developed for the racetrack and the full power is anyway only beyond 13,000 rpm. In normal everyday life, you only drive with a maximum of 150 hp anyway, and even that is more than enough. The same picture shows itself already with the normal s1000r. ultimately both top motorcycles and with me it will be next year the s1000r with carbon rims because this difference is actually felt extremely and does not need to be a professional :)
