- In this video, I try out the team that Luka Trejgut used to finish 2nd at the Peoria Regional Championships! Luka piloted a hyper offense team with Tailwind as well as strong attackers like Fire Ogerpon and Swords Dance Kingambit. This team has a ton of offense and is easily one of the best teams in the format right now!

Thank you for showcasing the team! Loved hearing your thoughts and seeing how you pilot it. I'll need to work on the scarf urshifu matchup though >.
Beautiful and powerful team, the combination that i like 💪🏻 good job 🙌🏻
Loved seeing such a kickass Kingambit!
Luka is a fire builder and was great seeing him break through to finals. Don't know how he clutched that Top 4 game 1. The king of kingambit players 👑
Of course he's a fire builder. He used the Hearthflame Mask.
@@Pablo360ablengl I read it as literally a fire builder and not "awesome" builder lmao
my fav part of the day
Ikr❤
thank you for posting. We truly appreciate the effort and time you put into making this content and we hope you never stop. Getting that notification that you posted is the hightlight of my day.
QotD: Ogerpon, and it isn't even close. She's just too cute for her own good and the fact that she is strong competitively is the icing on the cake.
Galarian weezing was so much fun to utilize again. Ton of combos (some a tad broken tbh) and during my first 30ish games I'd say half my opponents didn't realize how it really worked. Was a fun return
Question. Is there a reason to use specifically Wheezing G? With all the steel types running around, I feel the fairy typing hurts more than it helps.
@Endershock1678 both are fine but the extra fairy type helps more than it hurts plus a decent stab special move helps a lot
QOTD: Ogerpon is my favorite pokemon added in a long time.
-Cutest pokemon ever, oml it's little movements.
-I love the multi mask gimmick. It feels like a refreshing take on the mutlitype gimmick and heavily changes it's playstyle depending on the mask. Firepon feels like a strong sweeper while Waterpon feels like a strong all rounder.
-It's very strong but not min maxed in it's stats. It can hit hard and stick around for a while.
-It gives so much diversity in building it. I hated Urshifu because they all mostly played the same and mostly had the same moveset, but while Ogerpon always has Cudgel and Spiky Shield, I saw Grassy Glide, Horn Leech, Wood Hammer, Follow Me, Substitute, Power Whip, and more at this tourney. And some where built super strong while others were crazy bulky. Some acted as support while others were sweepers.
😂
I think Sinistcha has to be my favorite of the new mons, it's just such a fun mon to use. Great design and surprisingly excellent in VGC. I've used two different teams that featured Sinistcha (one of them being the Empoleon team you showcased recently), and with both teams I found Sinistcha to consistently be the MVP. It's just awesome.
QOTD: so many. Ogerpon is an amazing mon, so creative in its mechanics and well designed. Same with Sinistcha. Then we have Weezing back who has so many interesting interactions with its abilities. You got buff Empoleon, Milotic... My favorite gen 9 metagame so far with series 1 and early series 2
I HAVE to assume the White Herb Torn is just someone getting the wrong Herb on their Torn wanting Mental Herb, at least I hope so
I've definitely done that in tera raids (god damn five star raids with god damn taunt)
I don’t even play Pokémon anymore. SV was a big let down for me and the barrier for entry to play competitive is just too much work now. But love watching your videos just to stay up to date with the meta 🙏
I love the team breakdown and weaknesses section of every video. Really helps to understand how to play the teams and why they are set up the way they are. And helps me learn how to do it myself.
I keep saying "torn-ogre is so strong" and for so many years that meant something so different than this rule set lol
hear me out:
when restricted legendaries get added back into the format, torn-ogre-ogre
@@Pablo360able ogrenadus^2 since landorus is here too
@@kolbalt8121 does landorus really contribute to the archetype though? I mean I guess it does, it contributes to every team because it's landorus
Shiftry is my favorite Pokémon, I’m so glad he got windrider making him vaguely feasible
Im finally back to these videos. A great time actually, might grab it and play with it thanks to your great breakdowns
QOTD - That's a tough one but I think I have to go with Sinistcha, with Mamoswine being a close second. Sinistcha is just absurdly consistent, really bulky with an insane movepool, excellent ability, and typing that lets it wall common mons like Iron Hands while simultaneously setting up its teammates for success. Mamoswine doesn't have nearly as much going for it, but it is a strong physical attacker that's immune to intimidate with great offensive STABs and the ability to ohko Landorus with a priority ice shard. With tera it also becomes a good answer into Iron Hands, as well as checking heatran and doing decently into Ogerpon
I haven't even watched the video yet and I have to thank you for posting it! I pulled up this video before doing another Ranked session and the last of three matches which actually got me into Top 100 was against this team. Thanks to a calc I made prior I was able to turn a really bad lead matchup into a winning position. ;) I would have likely not have felt comfortable with what I did turn 1 if I hadn't had the paste.
Love your vids I feel like the way you bring us through your battles and mindset in a way we can all understand is awesome. Would you ever consider making p-battle review videos of like other streamers or like tournaments?
Love watching your videos the way you just know what to expect blows my mind. Really want to get into VGC but there’s sooo much to learn.
Everything you said on the weakness of this team was right on the money. I was at the regional and luka definitely said he has a bad match up against scarf urshifu and other tailwinders before he played against james baek.
Our boy James at number 1. Lets gooo!
I think my favorite addition is Ninetales-A. I wanted it back for some a Snow setter imo since I can set Veil faster along other things. I haven’t been using too many things that are new besides Sinistcha and Ogerpon so it doesn’t feel too different for my teambuilding.
Oh also, this reminds me of someone who’s been trying to counter Iron Hands with Zen Headbutt Kinggambit. It’s kinda nice honestly.
Babe wake up, new Aaron "Cybertron" Zheng video!
I’d love to see you pilot James team to see how you play with it as well! Get so hyped every time you drop a new video 💃🏼
Defiant is such a good ability rn. Stat drops are so common especially with intimidate landorus everywhere!
Which makes me shocked the conpetitive duo isn't doing better. They both do super well into Lando and Arcanine H
Wooots perfect timing. Just in time before bedtime
There is so much we can learn from you. You are an outstanding player.
Let’s gooo! hope you’re doing well Aaron, thanks for the banger vid!
I was watching the finals of that tournament and i kept thinking, “I wonder when Aaron is gonna make a video about these teams” lol 😅
I just subscribed to your channel love your videos!!! Just started vgc yesterday. I have a question, what do you run off using this team and faced with the exact same team on the opposing side. What do you do against indeedee/armarouge expanding force torkoal teams
The excitement I felt when I realized Aaron was featuring a team I was already using 😁
Been loving using ambipom as a fake out user because it outspeeds iron hands and it has helping hand for support as well as technichan as it's ability
I faced this team today! Won 3-0 by leading Tornadus+Heatran with Dragapult and Great Tusk in the back. They brought Tornadus+Flutter Mane, then Urshifu and Ogrepon (Landorus would have been better but I did have Chien-Pao).

Thanks for the video. Could I ask for the purpose behind the EVs of Ogerpon?
i dont even play pokemon but i watch your videos. for some reason I like listening to you talk😄
My favorite addition from the DLC has probably been the additional area to explore with a fresh feel and the new clothes! While yeah the new Pokemon and returning Pokemon are all nice to see, I have really enjoyed getting out of Paldea and into new scenery.
Thanks for the vid Aaron
Nah the brother that had the ursuluna blood moon and eviolite dusclops 😩 poetry in motion.
Using this team rn. GOATED
Does Mold Breaker on Fire Ogerpon negate the chance of Toxic Chain activating from the pheasant?
Galarian moltres is my favorite Pokemon to try to force. I think it is really good it just has too many high profile bad match ups
Hi Good day! im a Huge fan,
maybe a noob question but for example the
Kingambit set of
252 HP 236 Attack 12 def 4 sdef 4 speed…
why do we put those 12 def 4 def into the stats? why not just
252 att 252 HP 4 speed or something like that
To answer your question about additions I like the fact they buffed Goodra and gave it knock off and scald 2 fantastic moves that can cripple opponents ....a support goodra is a good Goodra❤
The DLC has been a boon for new strategies and fun. Favorite parts have to be Empoleon getting Competitive, Bloodmoon design and ROCK Ogerpon. Finally a mon with a 100% accurate strong physical rock move 😂
Hi! Which is the name of the program you are using for the breakdown?
QOTD: Unironically my favorite addition from the DLC isn’t a Pokémon. It’s the fresh start mochi. Using the berries to reset EVs in vanilla s/v was so painful
aaron always has the best analytical videos
I love this team!
38:15 doesn't mold breaker ignore multiscale?
just realize that ogerpon's fire mask open it's mouth when terastalizing
I really want to test if you can use Teal mask Ogrepon with Life orb or Choice item, then Trick one of its masks ONTO it and see if you can.
Cybertron and playing trick room mind games, name a more iconic duo.
QOTD: Kommo-o, Sinistcha and Ogerpon. I love these three, having so much fun with using them as well.
They really need to put a Limit on how many Legendary Pokemon are allowed in Ranked. 4 is too many.
Is it possible to get a colab with James and use his team from the regional?
Aaron lookin an absolute chad today 🫡
I am very upset your pfp isn't a photo of Cybertron from the g1 series
??? It's not 3am and a Cybertron vid is out ????
I'm new to competitive playing. So this question might be ridiculous... Sorry! Here goes: you build and select a team using pokemon showdown right? But how do you get those pokemon, perfect EVs, IVs... In the actual game? I don't get it. You catch them and train them? Can you train EV and IV? I'm a total noob hahaha sorry
CybertronVGC fans using the previous featured team playing against Aaron knowing they have exactly 0 secrets
Aaron, I gotta know…
Who is your NBA title favorite?
I really loved turn 1 in Game 5 though I think your coverage of it was a bit off. Assuming it is scarf ursh before turn1 goes you are in a very tough position. If you trade Tailwind and he surging strikes into oger you get ohkod after tera, but without tera you don't pick up with horn leech. And if you taunt over trading Tailwind the scarf ursh outspeeds naturally also like you mentioned it's not guaranteed you outspeed the enemy torn with your own given EVs so that is a risky play. What sucks is he played around you being faster torn with taunt and goes straight for bleakwind. With more attack EVs like you said on oger you don't need tera, but if you had terad that turn you would have picked up the single target KO (also if it's sash as you mentioned you get kind of rolled on turn 1) and been in incredible position the rest of the game as you obviously can deny enemy torn tw from there and oger just OHKOs everything else your opponent brought
fire ogerpon is my favorite addition. in sun it even OHKOs cresselia lol
"Oh this team looks cool!"
*seeing Water-Ursh*
"I am no longer interested in this team :v"
i can' t borrow teams... Error2-ALZYA-007, any help?
It’s funny how we still have TornOger in the format without Kyogre.
Qotd: Ogerpon. It balnced the Urshifu meta from Reg D
Yeah, looking at the top cut of this set vs of the set at World or Pittsburg, it feels so much more diverse.
what does reverse trick room mean?
If you use the move Trick Room while Trick room was already used, the effect of the move will be undone and the speed order will be back to normal
thanks!
The time stamps haven't been working on the last two videos :o
Losing against BBQ always leaves you full.
Can you not just run James Baek's Hisui Arcanine instead of Lando and then use scarfed Urshifu instead of focus sash urshifu? To make scarfed Urshifu matchups a bit easier
Kingambit wasn’t sugercoating it. Black glasses Sword dance sucker punch = OHKO
This guy just hid NordVPN logo within Landorus-therian during the breakdown
no time stamps?
You should do these live and climb rank ladder. I would watch
Aaroooooon! ❤
Comment for the algorithm
1 minute gang
QOTD: it's weezing! I think it can fit in many teams and create some fun counter meta teams!
Day 6 of requesting as snorlax team!
Qotd Empoleon
I am the first like, bloodmoon
Blood moon uraluna
You could post my team also 😂😉
This format is so deceptive. Alolan Ninetails and Sinischa make it look like slow defensive play would be good, but hyper offense just runs over EVERYTHING.

Day 6 of requesting a snorlax team! have a nice day every body! And do not forget to smile!
