Zoro going to wrap that final fight by accident, while wondering where that big bad is and leaves before the rest of the crew arrives. Creating a legend of a Dragon Slayer.
I really think this arc is going to take Luffy to a darker place. Not only will he be tortured, but he'll be influenced by Kidd's attitude; having that feed his hatred of Kaidou, and that's an important distinction to make; this looks like the first villain that Luffy has malice for.
He may think his crew and Tama are dead, and his current situation is only going to get worse before it gets better. It would be nice to see Luffy have some development post-time skip.

This might actually be unintentionally a great thing for Kaido. Think about it, what is his end goal: to end his boredom or to just die instead. If Luffy basically goes full on blood rage to try and kill Kaido, then he might be given the greatest motivation to strengthen his Haki.
Or Oda is going to introduce a new aspect that throws everything into a tumble.
I think this is the start of Luffy becoming a real pirate . Real pirates kill their enemies and I think Luffy will realize that some enemies just need to die

The only thing that could actually get Robin to react that way is if Luffy did something more out of character than losing (she had seen him handed an L before) . For example, a headline that read "STRAWHAT LUFFY PLEDGES ALLEGIANCE TO LORD KAIDO". Think about it, Kaido controls the newspapers of Wano (as we saw this chapter) and he already wants Luffy to join. He is so sure he can get Luffy, he lies in advanced.

Mindrig Universe Dude. It’s because they haven’t heard in at least one week from Luffy and the others. Since they parted Law and the Rest planned very carefully, every detail and role to build up to kill a YONKO - Kaido. The first thing they see is „Oh Luffy is back and OH he had a direct fight with KAIDO on the SAME DAY they came and OH HE LOST AND IS NOW LOCKED UP“
This is why. We all know Luffy was careless and didn’t stick to plans, but to fight a YONKO and the one they‘ve been wanting to kill since Punk Hazard on the FIRST day and ruin all their preparation is just next level even for Luffy.
You gotta understand that Luffy wouldn’t have gone this far if Kaido didn’t attack Oden Castle. He heard about Tama and witnessed the utter destruction of the Castle - he went mad. Gotta observe the character‘s reaction and think back to why they reacted a certain way.

Also Matt, I know there’s no real canon sea stone billets but do you remember when Z uses one against Luffy? So they are sort of hinted at being possible but probably very hard to make and obtain.
That's why all fodder marines doesn't have sea stone cause it is only obtained in Wano and it can be shaped by only Wano craftsmen.

I figure it would have to be crafted so the bullet would embed in the user, otherwise it wouldn't really do much, I don't know if that has influenced why they don't use this as much. This would make smaller projectiles (like nails) or slower ones (like arrows) more effective.

If you coated the sea stone therefore you are coating it with a weaker substance(Imagining the sea stone is the strongest substance in One Piece) hence a weaker substance than sea stone can be destroyed, and if it was coated the years World Government could’ve destroyed it or at least the “coating” and as the story implies the Poneglyphs are one solid material and could not be Sea prism stone. Maybe a better guess is it was made with liquor iron ore.
Maybe the reason why we haven't seen a sea stone bullet could be that the gun breaks it when it is shot
my guess is that sea stone is too precious to waste on ammo that might be impossible to retrive and reuse

Well you could make a gun from sea stone then the bullet wouldn't hurt it. But mostly its it would be op as hell. If you had one anyone decent with a gun could be pirate king or anything. Specially if you had massive haki. Like if shanks had this gun he could. Rule over all.
If someone can cover a sword with armament haki they should be able to do it with guns and the bullet. That would stop it from breaking.
It maybe cuz is no very effective since bullets usually go all the ways through no stay in the body

I love the ambience at the end of the chapter, with Luffy being taken as a hostage is the most realistic outcome we could have gotten. He always seems to get out of everything, all dangers and theats meant by yonkos used to mean nothing, but today, Kaido said I'm an Emperor. Get down. Now it feels like Game of Thrones. And jesus christ I love it.
If this was like Game of Thrones Luffy would be dead a long time ago and we would already follow the adventures of Captain Buggy or someone else.

There's a scene where Kinemon sees Shutenmaru and I believe he says something like "Ashura boy?" meaning that either Shutenmaru is either Ashura Douji or his son. Since Ashura Douji would probably be in his 40s-50s by now I would assume Shutenmaru is the son.

I love how this arc starts out and how it will play out. This seems kinda cool how it’s set up like a Kabuki play. This seems like the first act toward becoming the greatest (and maybe most iconic) One Piece arc.

For some reason I thought the tittle was something like: "HA! Gotcha! Didn't expected that, did ya?". So, I was expecting some surprise joke or a Deus Ex Machina that everyone forgot to take Luffy away.
In the end, seeing Robin do that Terrified me more than anything!
What does Deus ex machina mean?
It's a term that describe something that appears just to save the hero from a tight situation. (best example I can give is Shanks appearing in the end of Marineford)

GrandLineReview mentioned something interesting about the kairoseki. The people of Wano have no idea about its importance, since they know nothing about devil fruits, so why the hell would they invest so much into crafting it 🤔 and if there are such professional craftsmen wouldn’t they know at least a little bit about its uses, I feel like that really makes no sense 🤔🤔🤔 what are your thoughts on that Tekking ?

Possibly but i like to think that was his weapon of choice before he even arrived in Wano. Also seastone is not typically black, I like to think it's less about the club and more about how freakishly strong Kaido is.
Ussop, Robin, Franky's faces were the highlight of this chapter
Oda had robin be such a stoic character in most of the Series (save enies lobby etc), so when it comes time for a complete hilarious face fault or even a cute cry moment like ryunosuke happens!
My only problem with robin’s surprised face is that her perfect nose is messed up.

Well since Wano is all about Swords and Samurai its probaly one of the most dangerous Enemys in the whole World. An Enemy Zorro must defeat before he finaly can challenge Mihawk for the Titel Number one Swordsmen. An Epic Clash that we actualy now waiting for a Decade that it happens. Zorro Vs The Stairs that killed Kuina.

The lack of sea stone bullets might be due in part to a guns rifling, actually. Harder materials don't get good grooves when fired down the barrel, which leads to a loss of accuracy, which is why bullets are usually made of lead, rather than steel or some such.

The cloth around his head has the purpose of dampening the sound of his breathing. Thieves used to were those at night (when there was absolutely no light so they did not need to mask their faces but the sound they made while lurking around one of which was their heavy breathing... hence the clothes in front of their noses...
