I got to see an Indian dance where the girl found her mother after 25years looking for her mother and they did a mother -daughter dance and then they hugged each other that made me cry great time in my life
I do not know about horses but as soon as he heard that bell he immediately walked forward🤔 which makes me think he wanted fuss and warmth of his stable😊

Yeah I think it’s the rain. Most horses don’t care about it but some REALLY hate it falling on their head and ears……and he’s probably getting drips off the box edge too that aren’t helping. Rearing is resisting, so it’s noticeable that he does it when his rider asks him to move forward in the box. He’s also clearly a favourite with the troopers going on the affectionate way the stableman patted him.
Its amazing how the guard didn't move a muscle when the horse reared its front legs up. He continued to sit straight in the saddle. THAT IS AMAZING! That guard has talent. 👍👍👍

Lovely Kensington is giving Q10 a bit of competition. He seems to be big really big. The quard riding him is one of the lady guards and she looks tiny up on that massive beast. I had a horse of this type and could through his front legs like this when fed up or annoyed. God help if you got in the way. Never really aimed at anything just if he got annoyed or frustrated. Got help anyone if they were in the way the power would result in ver bad injury

No…..he was throwing his head and chewing because he was annoyed, and impatient, not due to his bit. He wasn’t happy in the box, mainly I think due to rain on his head and ears(some horses REALLY hate rain in their face, and most will naturally turn tail to rain to avoid getting it in the face) He also knew it was almost changeover time and wanted to get into the stable so he was chewing furiously in impatience, not because of his bit. Why do people obsess about the bloody bit???

Someone needs to look into why the majority of these soldier horses have such a hard time with their bit. There is something in there that is hurting them. Sometimes, ankle bands are used to help a horse learn to stop pawing the ground and to stand still. I’ve never seen one like these, though. Usually, they are a bit wider.
I truly believe some horses have problems with the baramertic pressure change from the rainy weather like some humans are and it might cause some sort of irritation. Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

Most of them do move around changing positions , some are very relaxed and chilling , horses stand the majority of the time and can sleep on their feet ! They are exercised every day along Rotten Row in Hyde Park having a good gallop . Regular turn out to grass in Melton Mowbray , and holidays on the beach .

Not hurting him or causing him distress , he knows his shift is nearly over plus the rain , Kensington is an experienced veteran and knows the job !

He’s fine. It was only a few minutes till changeover. He has a job to do and it’s not ok to let a little antsy behaviour get him out of doing his job. Horses are too big to indulge like that….they have to learn that misbehaviour isn’t rewarded.

I've always thought it's incredibly cruel for horses to be made to stand in the one spot for hours on end. If we humans had to do it, we'd have swollen feet and wouldn't be upright for very long. A horse with all that weight it's carrying together with the sheer boredom of this stupid practice, would surely be in some kind of pain!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is a cruel and unusual punishment.
They don't stand for " hours on end " the duty in the box is for 1 hour then changed over , an hours break then back but not always .. Not every day either , the two regiments alternate every couple of days . The horses are bred from Irish draught with some thoroughbred blood , they are big strong well muscled horses perfectly capable of carrying the weight of Trooper and saddle . The Household Cavalry have their own vets , farriers master saddlers and receive better care than you or I . They are regularly turned out to grass in Melton Mowbray and holiday on the beach . None exhibit any kind of pain , so yes you are wrong . They are working horses doing the ceremonial role they are trained for .
That's one big powerful horse. The Guard did an incredible job containing it. Horses know when their rider is experienced and confident.
They can tell from the moment the rider picks up the reins.

Honestly they are not human. The rain is no bother like this. Most horses will stand in the rain out in the paddock if its not an actual heavy storm.

He’s fine. It was only a few minutes till changeover. He has a job to do and it’s not ok to let a little antsy behaviour get him out of doing his job. Horses are too big to indulge like that….they have to learn that misbehaviour isn’t rewarded.

And exactly how many horses have you tacked up? Or fitted with a bit? Cos I have to say it’s pretty “obvious” that it’s none and you’re talking absolute tosh.

I've always thought it's incredibly cruel for horses to be made to stand in the one spot for hours on end. If we humans had to do it, we'd have swollen feet and wouldn't be upright for very long. A horse with all that weight it's carrying together with the sheer boredom of this stupid practice, would surely be in some kind of pain!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is a cruel and unusual punishment.

Well I think the trouble is in the bit. I don't know about all the other. But this has just started in the last couple of weeks.
@@rc391995 Then you haven't been watching very long - I started watching about 6 months ago and there are always horses playing with the bit ...
They don't stand for " hours on end " the duty in the box is for 1 hour then changed over , an hours break then back but not always .. Not every day either , the two regiments alternate every couple of days . The horses are bred from Irish draught with some thoroughbred blood , they are big strong well muscled horses perfectly capable of carrying the weight of Trooper and saddle . The Household Cavalry have their own vets , farriers master saddlers and receive better care than you or I . They are regularly turned out to grass in Melton Mowbray and holiday on the beach . None exhibit any kind of pain , so yes you are wrong . They are working horses doing the ceremonial role they are trained for .
