Ok, lo streaming del Wacken di quest'anno ci avrebbe fatto ovviamente ancora più piacere, ma ieri sera dalla rubrica 'Iron Maiden: Wacken Chronicles 2008 - 2016' mandata in onda sul sito di Magenta Musik abbiamo ricavato, tra le altre cose, la prima ed unica registrazione in pro-shot di 'No More Lies' dopo i tempi del 'Death On The Road'! ⚡🎥
Il brano, peraltro, oltre che nel tour del rispettivo disco è stato poi riproposto solamente nel 2010, per l'appunto.

We need more pro shot footage of the 2010 FF tour. It was my first Maiden show when I was 15 going on 16 and even though it was lacking some classic staples I was introduced to a whole different side of Maiden I never knew existed. I became obsessed with their post millennial material after this tour. My show was special since it was one of the few dates they played Paschendale.

Uno dei pochi pezzi del "nuovo corso" ad avere la stessa grinta del passato... sia chiaro, con questo non intendo dire che oggi scrivano canzoni blande, sono sempre gli Iron Maiden e il loro sound non l'hanno mai abbandonato... però questa ha un tiro micidiale e la sezione degli assoli fa scuola.
