I don't understand why so many people are against financially stable women becoming single mothers but are not against stupid young girls getting pregnant on accident by some loser because they forgot or misused birth control? Explain that to me please. This is clearly a much more optimal situation

I have a very hard time being vulnerable and I'm very closed off emotionally. It's something that I struggle with because I have trust issues. Btw if you’re an unattractive woman these is 100% a man out there for you but you may have to settle with a guy on the same attraction level as yourself. Especially if you haven’t got a massive body count which it sounds like you don’t there will be many options for you as a lot of the less attractive men are less experienced and probably intimidated or put off by alot of womens pasts, what’s even better is these are the most loyal guys to date or have a relationship with.

I can just tell from some comments that men are alarmed that women need them less and less as time goes by. I fully support women who want to do this on their own. At 42 yo she was running out of time due to fertility, a sad fact women have to deal with. It's now or never and she made the decision, paid for it. She has the passion to be a mother, she has a great job, a house and family support. There is no mention of feminism or men hating at all. She was just running out of time.

I know it’s not the same, but I got pregnant at 30. I have a job and the whole support of my family, my ex turned out to be a lier who was scamming women and cheating on me it was pretty traumatic to realize I got pregnant by this guy, but I decided to have the baby and I know I will be a single mother even though he told me he wanted to be part of this, but there’s no way.
So I’m embracing this journey all by myself and this video is inspiring, women can do everything.
Ask him to give up parental rights. Please. It will save you alot of headaches in the years to come.

Sometimes it is good to be a single parent, cause they child would notice a unhealthy relationship between the parents anyway. If a kid has unhappy parents then the child would also be unhappy. I grew up with my mom only, and I recieved all the love that I needed. I feel like it was a good choice. So stop putting single moms down. They do a lot for their kids. I think I want to do this. I've always wanted kids but I hate the thought of being married to anybody. If I do meet someone in the next few years, great. But I dont care if I do or not. I like being single. And hopefully.in the next couple years I will get to a position where I am ready to raise a child. That's all I want, is to be a mother.

This is me, I was a nanny throughout my 20s the eldest of a family of six and honestly think husbands are more stress than the kids. So I think I would like to do the kids part, but no hubby to have to constantly cater to. I have a large family that all live within 20 minutes so it's not like I would be doing this alone.
@@Ryan-nj5ue so many kids have single parent and are fine. I don't want a relationship. Will it be hard? Absolutely. But i know that and am prepared for that. Families come in all shapes sizes and types and they muddle along just fine. I will teach my kid this. Some kids have a mum and a dad, some kids onto have a mum or a dad, some.kids have two dads, some.kids have two mums, some kids live with grandparents etc. It's that simple.
Speak with single moms first before you make your decision. As a single mom for 7 years, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in life. It was lonely, stressful, draining and so difficult. Those nights when your baby is crying and you can’t figure out why and you’re all alone are some of the loneliest nights. I wouldn’t wish single parenthood on my worst enemy. Only people who have never had children would advise you become a single parent by choice.

I hate to break it to you, but the leading cause of death in people under 30 is suicide and I can tell you for a fact that they weren't all raised by single mothers by choice.
If having a father present during a child's upbringing is so important, what about the homes with father's that are present, yet emotionally unavailable... What about the father's that suffer from substance abuse, that are physically and emotionally abusive? A home that is toxic with anger and constant fighting and bickering?
What do you think that does to a child? Trust me, there are things far worse than a child not having a father present.
Simply put, a child thrives in a home where he or she is loved, where they are wanted, nurtured and cared for. And a child from a single mom by choice can grow up enriched in the same way other children that have both a mom and dad are. Not to mention that you're forgetting that these children are also surrounded by great male role models in their lives. They may not have a father involved in the traditional sense, but these children don't grow up and commit suicide, drop out of highschool, teen pregnancies or go to jail like much of you naysayers claim, but instead become successful productive members of society.

Secondly 80% of the suicide are committed by men, men and women from single parent households are at the highest risk (65% and over) of all life disadvantages this includes growing up poor, incarcerated, juvenile delinquent, abused/bullied, mentally ill, drug dependent, suicidal, divorced, low IQ etc... you can’t even compare the life outcomes of kids that come from biological families because the majority of well developed people come from these homes where their parents were involved and never split up. How on earth can a mother teach her son how to be a man, shes not a man... and she has never experienced a good father figure in her life. Single mothers taking on the responsibilities of 2 parents creates a highly stressful environment for the kids, when the mother decides to find a bf and goes through them like batteries the child she has is constantly experiencing fatherlessness every time they get a attached to her new bf then he leaves all of a sudden. This whole dysfunctional family dynamic causes a lot of emotional problems for the child they will struggle to have proper meaningful relationships, social skills and self identity. I choose to believe that a child raised in a home where he or she is loved and nurtured, weather that be from a single mom, a single dad, same sex parents, etc! will grow up just as well adjusted as any other child.
Weather a father walks out on a mother or a wife tragically dies leaving the father to raise their children, there will always be non traditional families, so why harp on people who choose to go this route out of love, why discourage them, call them selfish just because they chose this path. Why deny a child from ever being born, a child that could go on to do great things, regardless of your so called statistics.
There are plenty of examples of children raised by single moms that grow up to be amazing human beings, and then there are plenty of examples of children raised by a mom and dad that grow up to be just like you.
Oh and by the way, I was raised in a home with both a dad and a mom, my parents are still happily together after 35 years, but growing up I've seen and watched many families stay together, even if they shouldn't have and I've witnessed the detrimental affects it's had on their kids as children and as adults.
I think I'll take my chances as a single mom by choice any day.
If a woman is at a point where her fertility is declining and she can't find a man to settle down and have kids with, she shouldn't have to settle just for the sake of having kids. She can choose to do this on her own. Like I said, love can come at any time but sadly fertility has an expiration date.

I've been wanting to have a baby of my own since I turned 20. I know that i will never be lucky in finding a romantic partner, i have a stable job, i finished school already and I've been wanting to either adopt or undergo and IVF because I (believe it or not) prefer to raise my own kid on my own, even without a dad. Then cut to the time when I got pregnant from my ex, then he left (for some reasons) and it's not that I wanted him to really leave, it's just that I've been wanting to be a single parent waaay before we met and that pregnancy actually made my dreams come true!!! so thanks to the dad, wherever he is, but i am so happy for myself. 🥰🥰🥰

It will allow women to fertilize themselves using spermcells that are created from their own stemcells resulting in a baby that is genetically related to only you and no one else. Most people think this technology will be ready within a decade

People are weird. That’s all I’m gonna say about people who hate or same others life choices. After watching all the relationships in my life from my parents to my sisters to my brothers, the last thing I want is a relationship. And guess what? Most of these relationships that I got/get to watch are straining and stressful because of men! Not saying all men are trash, because they certainly not, hell, the men in my life aren’t trash. But I’m having kids first and fulfilling that dream of mine without the stress and anxiety of a relationship because people wanted me to settle for less!!
