Can’t say 36mm is a woman’s watch… classic size. In fact, I’ve had a 34mm date for 20 years and still wear it. It’s all about taste - I’d say the 41 is too big

I personally own a 41. At the same time I am looking at buying a 34 mm OP from 1955 that is the beautiful part of watch collecting there are no rules or stipulations. Buy what you like.

I was very underwhelmed by the Explorer 36mm. I only tried on the two tone, but the numbers and the overall look just didn't do it for me! I tried an op 36 in bright blue and that watch was absolutely perfect. I do prefer the green or black, do those are the ones I'm waiting for.... come on AD hurry up!!
I love the simple clasp, the size and fit, the 20mm bracelet is superb. And the dials are gorgeous with the classic batons... its just so much better than the Explorer in my opinion... and still has the same usability and water resistance...I wish it was 150m like the Aqua Terra but I forgive you Rolex.... perfect one watch

@@thewatchking hey. Actually went with IWC Mark 16. I wouldn't do it any other way. I'm kind of turned off Rolex at this stage. There's Omega, Zenith, IWC, Grand Seiko, Nomos . . And they do offer great value especially on the used market. So much beautiful variety. Rolex is over priced and so hard to get. I don't want to put the effort in for a generic watch

Good review! Im on waitlist for 36 OP. Explorer was underwhelming. I totally agree with you about it. It wasnt even the watch that went to the top of Everest, an OP was.

Beautiful watches, congrats. In my opinion black dial will look best in 41 mm, and any stella dial will look better on 36 mm. The stella colors are too bold for a large watch. Either way your watches look beautiful 💛
