You can fill it with water with a Rinseroo from Amazon. It’s a rubber hose that hooks to the shower and then to the machine.

After you wash the first time, spin the clothes out to get the dirty water off. Then place the clothes back on the washer side and fill with clean water then add fabric softener. This will keep your clothes from getting crunchy. I have one just a different brand. Hope this helps.

I noticed how much soap you poured and I didn't always know this and want to pass it along, look down in that soap cap the largest heavy soiled load fill line is not even half of the cap I use the same Detergent, so for that washer ( got it for my daughter) a medicine cup (big one) is all you need Facts you will get so much soap build-up in your clothes, It's the agitations of the washer that gets your clothes clean more than the soap. Detergent companies know that the consumer is going to feel the cap the whole way to the top and not pay attention so you use more so they sell more And as you know it's very expensive. I once upon a time had so much soap build-up in my bath towels I had to wash them with no soap 2 times with extra rinse with vinegar to run the soap out of them from over use. Another tip is I reserve my expensive laundry detergent (Tide) For my husband's work close everything else I use the affordable Arm & Hammer but I still measure how much I use And that is around 2 tablespoons of the powerful stuff.

An entended showerhead works great for filling the portable washtub. My Kuppet has a drain pump which I like.

My wash side on my washer went out. I wash in my tub and still use my spinner (that alone is the most amazing thing only EVER!).
I have noticed, even with liquid detergent, that if you don't rinse the soap off well enuf then everything is all sorts of crunchy. I miss my agitator working but I am ordering the same brand as the first one, and going to use the old one for spare parts.
Have you looked into a portable dryer for your apartment? I have a regular sized dryer I paid $25 for off of a FB sales site lol
Just a tip, slide a stocking over your drain hose and secure with a rubberband to stop anything from going into your tub drain.

@@Tayzavalaraqslife I have a larger sized regular dryer, nothing has to be put in the regular sized dryer longer than 10 minutes so far.
I am looking into a portable one because my family has downsized. I have watched a few reviews on them youtube and they seem worth the money.

I take that you may have a shower. why don't you use a handheld shower hose to put water in your washer ? That I did purchased a handheld. Makes filling easier

@@flowers218 I don’t have a handheld shower head. It doesn’t connect very well and since it’s a rental apt I didn’t want to ponder over it too much lol

@@Tayzavalaraqslife they also sell floating plastic/foam lint and hair catchers! They work soooo much better than the lint catchers built into these washers. I paid like $5 for a 2 pack on Amazon over a year ago, they're still working great. The bottom of one unravelled but I sewed it right back up. I also use the bottom quarter of a panty hose on the drain tube as well, just incase.

I just got one of these machines from Amazon. Dif brand. And on one of the vids I saw. They said to use one of those tiny kid medicine cups. But not full it all the way. Prepper princess did a video of how much soap to use too in a reg machine. And to be honest I never noticed those lines in the reg cup tops of the detergent bottles but when I started using half or less than have of the soap my clothes seem to come out cleaner smelling and feeling. I still use some vinegar tho bc my son swears a lot at work. And this helps bc he has super sensitive skin. So I have to be careful for his skin type. Thank u for sharing with us a great video I appreciate it

Your clothes are crunchy because of too much soap, it won't rinse clean if over using soap. These machines need 1 tablespoon only at most. We use 1-2 teaspoons! Clothes are clean.

You should put a lint catcher in washer especially is you have pets. Or use a pantyhose to the end of hose where the water comes out and it will catch lint or pet hair. You don't want the drain to plug.

I was looking into getting one of these for myself since my boyfriend and I live in an apartment with no amenities but we are on a tight monthly budget so I was wondering if you've seen a noticeable rise in your electric or water bills since you've been using this unit? I'd probably have to use it every day as he works landscaping and dirties up work clothes like crazy.

Crunchy.others means you are either using too much detergent or not rinsing enough. Lycra leggings get ruined by fabric softener.
