Don't tell me it's because of the art and it's characters designed as animal's intentionally. Man, people still haven't learned to embrace other animes for it's unique and distinctive art.

According to the Audio Dramas, it was first with Taeko (as seen here), then she gives the pen to Goriki, who later gives it to Odokawa and then so on and so fort.

This made me actually start to wonder if I would feel calmer and confident if I found a boyfriend. Iâve only had one in my life. I once joked that when this pandemic is over that Iâd hunt down all the boys. đ
Lately I've found that shows with animal people seem to have the most relatable characters (this show, Aggretsuko, and Bojack Horseman)
The conversation in this show feels so natural. The bar scene is my favorite because It genuinely feels like a normal conversation between friends
Honestly people shouldnât be sleeping on this, itâs such an interesting show and generally is worth a watch yet barely anyone is talking about it

man, Toonami really needs to put this anime in their block.
This whole anime is fantastic. I keep coming back to this video just to watch the opening scene with the idol song. It's such great foreshadowing for all the characters we meet and the parts they play in the story, even if you don't realize it on your first watch. On top of that, the combination of the music and the visual beats that go along with them is kind of mesmerizing. It really gives the feeling of "something's about to start" and the final part of the scene where the music shifts from what we the audience hear to how it sounds on Odokawa's radio is a fantastic transition from a prelude to the story proper.
After seeing all the episodes and now watching this first one again, I can't help but see it differently knowing what I know and really notice things and characters who I wouldn't have thought twice about! Love it!

It's the best original anime so far hands down. And I'd be surprised if anything better comes up in the next two seasons
Every week I kept wondering why this anime never made the Top 10 lists. Yeah, maybe people prefer fan service over anthropomorphic characters, but this was my show of the season. I won't spoil anything, watch this and you'll know if you want to watch the rest.

We need to get this show snubbed at the Emmys it's so amazing
5:33 - 5:41 These words hit me the very first time I heard them: they already introduce Odokawa as the simple and kind man he will act as, although he's also a bit too much blunt (5:43, 14:41) and never breaks his character as a middle-aged man unable to juggle well with young people's world (7:01 - 7:14).
Most all of this characteristics relate to his backstory in one way or another, and it's also amazing to see how deeply he has developed in only 13 episodes.

Just binged this today two years after release. Itâs crazy how the writing is better the second time around
the twist of the last episode (foreshadowed MANY times across the series) alone makes it an 8/10 easily.

wow just binged it in one sitting, this is an absolute masterpiece
Oddtaxi? More like Godtaxi, this show is legit freaking amazing, the first ep. got me hooked all the way back in april with the Tarantino-like dialogue, the tight mystery kept me invested and the giga plot twist in the last ep could give Shyamalan a heart attack. If you haven't yet, you owe it to yourself to watch this modern classic. Also, Burusu Springstii.

For anyone put off by the aesthetic: endure it, this anime would not exist without it, it's integral to the mystery.

Please please please watch Odd Taxi, it is honestly one of the best anime that I've ever seen. If you liked Durarara you will love Odd Taxi, it has the same vibe but more realistic. And yes the animals are off putting but trust me, they are there for a reason.
This might be one of the last times you see a taxi in an anime, since Uber and Lift are slowly eliminating them.
What a fantastic series! So glad I decided to watch it, instant classic!

When i went to petco, the guy working there saw my anime shirt (i dont remember which one i was wearing) and he told me to watch this. I never saw him again but i think of him when i come back to this. Hope hes happy and well
