This is such a fun set to build. Most architecture sets are very repetitive (Taj Mahal, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Colosseum, Eiffel Tower), but this one has barely any repetition.

Whoa I am Impressed. It's nearly impossible to get Lego to do compound curves but this set pulls it off well. It's also huge, Kinda wish I had this but this gives me so many new ways to build things. If you want to connect two anti stud faced bricks together use the red technic piece. Noted!

6000 divided by 3.5 hours would be 1714 pieces per hour, or 28 pieces per minute. Meaning unless you can build at a rate of 1 piece per 2 seconds it would not be possible without help.
