  • The UN Security Council is meeting to discuss North Korea's human rights record for the first time. It comes as the secretive regime is locked in a diplomatic battle with the US over the Sony cyber attack and the withdrawal of the satirical film "The Interview".
    Sky's Mark Stone reports from the North Korea-China border.

    Why film at all during the pastors interview, or post footage of the surrounding building? Seems highly irresponsible to film during a scene where someone is clearly scared of being identified.

      Came to make the exact comment and in complete agreement. The pastor will definitely or has definitely felt the heavy hand of the government after this report

      Being the only fat person in NK makes him easy to pick out especially since he has the only stretch limos. KJU can not go out in the morning or afternoon because his shadow makes him an easy target.

    TBH who wants a neighbor and ally such as North Korea?

    • @markmark5269
      @markmark5269 Před 7 lety +13

      NK is NOT China's ally, common mis-belief.
      China has to help some or the total collapse will be terrible for China with mass immigration of starving people needing to be cared for.
      China is taking the lesser of 2 bad roads, it's that simple, and they are only doing "just enough".
      By the way, China is very pissed that NK haven't recognised it's fallen soldiers who helped during the Korean War, and that NK has never paid for the weapons supplied.

      +Saleh Bukhari There are ethnic Koreans living in China who are Chinese citizens. They've been there for hundreds of years, so it's not uncommon to hear Korean-speaking communities in that area.

    What would happen if North Korea was reunited with the South, similar to Germany ? Will the trade competition be too much for America to handle ?

      Which government becomes the leader of all 60,000,000 people?
      South Korea wouldn't be willing to give up some of it's western ties............
      North Korea wouldn't be willing to accept any concessions on its part.
      Until the government of North Korea is overthrown violently they won't concede to anything. Even China could probably overthrow North Korea all by itself........what are they waiting for?
