    I will give Qatar a 9.2/10 I have been visiting and staying in Qatar for 5 years now. People are really nice at restaurants, airports, hotels etc. I have travelled alone there ( I am 15 ) and they all are really helpful whether it be a staff or a security at the airport. Definitely one of the best airports. There are a lot of places to visit and the thing people don't get is it still has not reached its full potential, major parts of Qatar are still desert and it definitely cannot compete with countries like UAE but it can in a few 10 years or so. So it is like a developed developing country. And about the human right things in the comments unfortunately it is true these things are actually happening in a few small companies in Qatar but it is not happening to everyone and we cannot blame only Qatar for this because if we look at every country's history this is very common. My dad works in Qatar and he has not faced any of these human rights violations or slave shit ( He has been working in Qatar for 8 years now). Apart from this I will definitely recommend everyone to have a visit to Qatar.

      Western media is doing a good job in their war against the non-westeners specially Arabs and Muslims. And naive westeners who don't know anything fall into this trap and believe everything they say. This war which their media is trying to do because entitled westerns will always try to find something to mock other successful nations who beat them in everything, in order to make them feel better and that they are superior in everything. That's just how the white European colonial mentality works, thinking they are the best in everything and most humane people in the world, which is not.

    Those ones talking about human rights wouldn't have talked about it if it wasn't a Muslim country at this time .
    It was being held in France,UK and Russia nobody that talked about this topic, they said it's only a football and don't mix the politics through the football but when it came to a muslim country they started to shout where is the human rights?
    And I say it's lost when France that still colonised Africa and murdered millions of that people has the right to host the World Cup.
    Even at this logic North Korea have also the right to host,this is world Cup it's not a European cup .

      Nothing to with being a Muslim country. It’s an odd situation, I lived in the Gulf for over 15 years and worked in all the Gulf countries. There is good and bad in all. It’s have always deplored the way ‘the workers’ from poor countries were treated. Sadly the Europeans often treated them as badly and disrespectfully. I happen to really dislike Dubai but I wouldn’t openly criticise them because it’s my opinion. I leave KSA to KSA. However, Qatar is something else. It’s difficult to describe, I hated going there and have never seen such odd and peculiar behaviour to the degree that it was frightening. I accept that people live a different way and if I’m working in their country, I abide by their laws and respect their culture. But Qatar………

    Qatar treats foreign laborers like slaves. More than 8000 (Eight Thousand) laborers have died building the new soccer stadiums for the FIFA World Cup. Amnesty International has said that this will be the first Soccer World Cup that will be played entirely in a graveyard. One can find videos of this modern day slavery on youtube.

    • @dofinoah
      @dofinoah Před rokem +8

      And have you read how Qatar try to improve its foreign labours policies after Amnesty International voiced out the issue? Do you know that the Qatari people only makeup less than 15% of the population? Most of native Qataris work in government sector or as shareholders with private companies managed by almost entirely non-natives Qataris. Thus, the issues of human rights that happen would likely happend due to the mismanagement of the non-natives Qataris whom aren't familiar with the locals cultures and do as they like. I not denying that Qatar has failed in monitoring and protact foreign workers rights, but we can't compare a country minority ruled to other countries where majority rules. They learnt the hard way but they also trying to improve themselves. Since then, they has compensated the victims families, and improving their foreign labours policies. They have improved some of the policies such as the passports of the employees can't be obtained by employers and etc.
      There's no such thing as a perfect country in this world, we all consistently change, but we all want a better life.
