How to get employed 101:
1. Solve the problems in an intuitive order: neetcode.io/
2. Visualize the problem (draw a picture, its so much easier)
3. Maybe the first 50 questions take 50 hours, the next 50 questions will take 15 hours. You will be SHOCKED by how quickly you improve!
please share your linkedin id
"Maybe the first 50 questions take 50 hours" :(. I'm spending multiple hours instead of just 1:1 to try to get leetcode to accept my spaghetti code runtime haha.
I've finished learning DS, now I'm going for Algo. Once that's finished and I solve my first 50 questions, I'll come back and validate your claim.
You were recommended another online with neetcode discount, I took that one year back and forget the name
Great stuff, really enjoying your content as of late.
As a LeetCode noob I find it useful to set a timer for 30 mins whenever I attempt a problem. In no real interview will I get much more than that and it also helps prevent going down paths to nowhere and wasting time. If I can't solve it, I'll look at the solution (usually your videos!), write my own notes, then come back later to attempt the problem ONLY looking at my own notes (NOT the solution code). I find this helps me build the intuition.
I'm happy my videos are helpful. Setting a timer is super useful advice as well.
This is brilliant advice!
I just wasted half my day on trying to solve merging the two sorted linked list and in the end the solution was so simple, aaaAAAA!
currently searching for my first ever internship and the anxiety i have about technical interviews is crazy... this video really helped me set a concrete goal for myself to relieve some stress! u a real one
Hi James! How's the search been going?
Please continue the whole series. I am just starting with the Leetcode and I am glad that I found your channel. It will be really helpful to learn in sequence through your videos.
Hahaha, I'm not even joking Sean Prashad is my colleague 😂. I sent him this video, what a coincidence.
Thank him on our behalf.
Please thank him
This list is so helpful, thanks for sharing ! I'm taking my first Data Structures class next semester, so once I got a basic grasp of this stuff I'll try Leetcode this way. Saving this for next year hehe
I was solving randomly. This is much better. Thank you.
Appreciate you man. I graduated back in 2019 and had to put aside to take care of my parents for a while now they’re getting better. So I can finally start applying but I really need to practice my algorithms more since it’s been a while. You’re videos have been helping a lot.
Thanks for the kind words. And i wish you good luck on your journey man, you're gonna make progress faster than you expect!
Thanks for the tips. Was just about to go in Leetcode's sequential order, so I'm glad I found this haha
Glad I found this channel in my final year before becoming a full-time NEET.
Where were you 2 years ago when I failed every interview?? I’m thankful I found this channel. I’m No longer afraid to interview. Cheers from nyc
Found your channel in the LC discussion. Glad I clicked. You def. deserve more subs.
Currently unemployed and hating the leetcode grind… I found this video a lot more helpful than other leetcode videos! Thank you
girl same!! if you ever need someone to commiserate with, feel free hit me up :)
I am at my 30s and want to do a complete career shift (no IT background).. doubting myself everyday but don't wanna give up. Carry on!
i've been feeling so lost in my interview prep but this channel and this video have helped me so much. it instilled confidence in me too which i desperately needed lol
Thats awesome! I'm glad it was helpful
Dude you deserve way more subs! You just earned one rn! Awesome content!
Man, every sentence you said is so true and indicates experience from the past.
You gave me hope, thank you, greetings from Tokyo!
This video is really helpful. You introduced me to LeetCode Patterns and that's super helpful. Thanks a ton!
This is awesome. I'm graduating around April 2021 and I've just started doing leetcode in case I begin getting these questions in interviews. It does feel really hard at first but I like the advice of if you try for 10-20 minutes and are still stuck then look at solution, then try to do on your own again later :). I'm starting to learn things I don't even think i was taught in my CS degree, such as two pointer technique and sliding window.
That's awesome! I'm sure you will do even better than you expect!
I wish I met your channel four years ago, I was stressed at that time when I started doing interviews 😅
Now, after 3 years since I started working on IT, I'm revisiting Leetcode but using this type of guidance, thank you for sharing these tips and all explanations in your Leetcode videos!
I have been prepping for interviews for a while and I don’t consider myself to be a beginner. That being said though, I have always felt like the resources online just list a bunch of topics you need to know but never mention effective ways of actually learning the material and there is so much information to learn it can be very discouraging. This video is helpful to a lot of people and you should make more like it.
This might be the best motivational talk I got in my life, I think?! That Goku on Snake Way bit especially resonated..!
You are my light in all this darkness that people call Technical Interviews. Thank you so much for this one.
Best advice I’ve heard since starting my job search!
This was definitely helpful. Thanks for the video. Liked and subscribed!
Gold! Perfect advice. Thank you. Subscribed.
Thank you so much man, I am telling you, and you won't believe, I literally wasted a lot of time(think 6+ months) in prepping for theory(i know how to code balanced BST i.e. AVL trees in my sleep), but i realized too late that i couldn't even solve 2Sum( i hate myself for this), since i randomly picked up LC easy. had i not come across your channel and this video, i would have had a panic attack for sure. I am going to focus on Sean's list + Blind 75 + Grokking from here on. No more of AVL!
OMG, Finally a practical tips about using LC. LeetCode should give you a bonus for helping people use them :DD I did quit several times because I thought algorithms are hard for me, now these make sense, every beginner should watch this. Thanks
Hey man this is really valuable stuff. Thanks for the tips
"Get a girlfriend", that's a good one ;)
Dude you deserve million subs. you are highly underrated.
thanks for all the suggestion the lists you provide are always helpful 👍👍👍
I wish I found this video earlier. It would have saved my time.
BTW, I find your video explanations and solutions very helpful. Thanks for putting them in YT.
I felt very proud of myself when I did twosum, twosum 2 and 3sum
it was challenging but once I found the patterns and similarities and keeping in mind im working with the same stuff in different ways
Great advice and video

Damn, wish I saw this before. This is great. I was making a pattern list on the side - it's good to have something to reference with.
thanks man i was really stuck trying to solve random problems
thanks man i really needed that
I really wish I would have seen this video when I was beginning my LC journey. Would've saved me MONTHS of grinding and frustration lol. Hoping more beginners come across this video
Very useful information. Thank you for this video
Thanks for a great video :) So currently I am doing Leetcode topicwise. Do you think solving these groupings first and then tackling that particular topic is the best approach ?
Amazing video! You should upload more strategy videos like this. Liked and subscribed

Heyy. Thanks a lot 😇
Loved how you used Goku as an example :D
I too started with Two Sum, I think Three Sum is much in-depth and exhilarating if you ask me. 😏
Bro getting a Girlfriend as bait to solve Leetcode problem is amazing motivation.

Sir where did you learn all these concepts of hashmaps, linked lists, binary search etc everything with respect to python?? I mean I want to learn all these Data Structures and Algorithms with respect to python!!! So could you please suggest me where I can find those all things?
I have my interview tomorrow wasn't worried but now that the day is literally tomorrow I'm kind of nervous.
I think you will do better than you expect, good luck my friend!
A great example of Snake way!! I can completely relate to.

Hey neetcode how can I do leetcode when im not good in problem solving and a beginner
This is what I needed, thanks!!!!!
What I also do is create Anki flashcards with some problems or some Python methods that I think could be useful for future problems, like string1.find(string2)
Thanks!
Thank you so much Dave!

bro you didn't have to go so personal with the "got no girlfriend" and "got no friends" part. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
The goku bit convinced me
