Wow wow wow! I love this Katie! I love taking notice of the flowers (and weeds!) around me on my walks and hikes, spring is finally starting here in Colorado, USA and I've been taking photos of every flower i see to create back in my studio. Love this idea! Thank you!

Hi Katie, I am like you in the respect of looking around and noticing the little things. I’ve always been that way…… the difference between us is you know how to artistically capture their beauty on paper. ❤
It's amazing what we can find isn't it! I've always loved noticing little things in nature so it feels really natural to now put it into my sketchbook 🥰
Loved watching you paint both of these. I especially love the cow. You’ve come a long way since drawing cows that looked a lot more like sheep 😂 I really enjoy seeing your journaling alongside your paintings too. X

I love these style spreads. I'd love to do things like this but I think I need to start getting out more so I have things I can actually sketch and journal about 😅. I've always found wordy things really difficult too so I'm looking forward to the zoom session about it.
Thanks Emma 😊 The wordy side of it definitely gets easier with practise! I always start with not knowing what to write and then I can't stop 🤣

It is! I reach for the Royal Talens sketchbook 90% of the time 😊
if we actually did look around us more, especially looking up we would find so much to inspire us. we tend not to look up when walking around and miss out on a lot of things around us😀
100%! That is so true, I have a habit of always looking down but you're totally right! It's amazing how much we can miss
