- Can You Afford LJUBLJANA?! - Ljubljana Prices & Travel Costs. In this video I will let you know how Expensive is Ljubljana, Slovenia. I’ve spent last 8 years travelling around Europe as a tour guide and after my visit of Ljubljana, I want to share with you my travel costs and the latest prices, to help you budget your visit. It’s true that due to pandemic some prices have dropped. Stick till the end where we will look at how expensive is Ljubljana on a scale of 1 to 10.

Great informative video Rok. Ljubljana was on our travel radar last spring until pandemic scrapped our plans. Maybe this year. One suggestion: you covered airport connections well, what about coming to Ljubljana by rail? Where is train station in relation to city center, connections, etc. Good stuff!

I was there 4 years ago and i was impressed with every inch of this country. I was given a fine for not having a sticker to drive on the highway and i was more than happy to pay the fine because the roads were beutiful

Thanks! Unfortunately student accommodation in Ljubljana is not well sorted. There is a lack of student apartments as there is no real campus and number of apartments is very limited. Most of them are in the area called Rožna Dolina. Many students go on a rental market and look for a solution. Usually 2 or 3 of them share one apartment. Hope you will find a good solution. Yes, you are right. Prices went up quite a bit in 2023. But in september or octobre should be better than in the summer.

We are traveling for USA to visit Slovenia in May 2024. Are the prices around the same?
Unfortunately prices went up a lot in the last year. But they are still cheap compared to USA. Have a great time 🤗

If you work in IT you can earn enogh, otherwise it can be difficult.
