I've owned at least 6 different Windows Phone devices. Launcher 10 is the best Windows Phone inspired launcher for Android. It even offers some live tile functionality for a small cost.
Its so sad that Microsoft left the phone industry. I really love their UI interface and how quick their phones even if it only equipped inferior chipset

The main issue is that basically all major non-Mainland Chinese websites are linked to major social media platforms and conform to the ToS of the Apple App Store and Google Play, but outside of those major websites there are plenty of old websites and even new ones where you're still free.
Coming initially from Windows Phone and having also used couple of years Launcher 10.... I can confirm that Square Home is an outstanding launcher that gives back some of that feeling... Performance and features are excellent.... Hope it lives and upgrades long!
The live tiles concept was excellent and suited the Windows brand beautifully. From what I understood, it was extremely popular with users. The only reason Windows Phone failed was because it lacked apps.
Absolutely windows phone was something good, smooth, responsive , affordable. And i love the microsoft services integration. If they lauch the lumia series again, without thinking i will buy 1 ❤

Hello! I used it for around 2 days on Vivo X70 pro. There wasn't any battery drainage, however, my phone got a tad slow. For example, switching between apps, force kill an app...was much smoother and faster in the custom launcher than this one. I also noticed that if I plugged in a USB and played any audio, it won't work with my music player app. Apart from these two issues, I found none.
Some of those phones act up weird when you use third party launchers. The app animations won't be smooth and multi tasking gestures sometimes don't work.

I was a big fan of windows phone. I still have Nokia Lumi 730. It's working perfectly alright without support. I am still hopeful for come back of windows phone
16:40 I don't see those as negatives, I miss the shocksites and all the shocking things that used to be normal. We can keep social media for the sanitised version of the internet, today it is actually more difficult to even find footage of tragedies because many of those websites aren't indexed by search engines and you must be "in the know" to find them. When I was a kid we were watching Happy Tree Friends in elementary school and we tricked our teacher into believing it was a normal cartoon. Zoomers today just didn't grow up with it and they get shocked when they see the smallest of negativity. Anti-fragility is a good thing.
"Free" means there is an ad popup when I'm trying to do something on the phone, or at best, it prompts you to buy the premium version. And at worst, its probably malware to steal personal data, passwords, and bank accounts.
Windows phone os was really good, even their phones, but their app store, and app support was so ass, updates would even usually come at last for Windows os.
There was a similar app, I forgot it's name but that app was the closest and the most Windows Metro like launcher than even this Square Home app. That app had even progressing loading dots just like Windows metro and much more. But the downside was that it was a Chinese app and it got removed from the playstore.😅

It was definitely well optimised. But the landscape was different back then. Almost everyone wanted more features, more bells and whistles for their money. The story today is a little different when people have started to value digital minimalism again.

Find one on the second-hand market and experience it yourself. Going back to Android was like resurfacing after being under water and holdding my breathh for too long. lol

I think launcher 10 is better. The icons and app drawer are exactly the same as the windows phone. Same animations when you open and close an app as well as live tiles!
Square Home has better animation and is looking more like Windows 8. Launcher 10 has better live tiles implementation in my opinion and is looking more like Windows 10.
