Join me on my first visit to Miami! We kick off our adventure by arriving at the modern Hotel Epic Miami, located downtown by the Miami River. The room is a delight, featuring very comfortable beds, Italian linens, bathrooms with rainfall showers, and balconies offering stunning ocean views. We also enjoy the convenient room service.
We explore the city by showcasing the majestic hotel entrance and witnessing the opening of a bridge to allow boats to pass on the river. The next day, we venture out to explore Miami and discover the vibrant Bayside Marketplace, an open-air waterfront mall with shops, restaurants, and live entertainment. Here, you can also find services offering exciting boat fishing excursions, as well as a variety of stores from souvenirs to fashion.
We visit the sports complex where the Miami basketball team plays, explore the charming Dogs and Cats Walkway and Sculpture Gardens, and uncover the Pérez Art Museum, known for its collection of international modern and contemporary art and enriching educational programs.
Our journey also takes us to the Frost Science Museum, where we admire the fascinating shark exhibition. Additionally, we pay tribute to the Monument and Eternal Flame dedicated in 1960 to Latin American/Caribbean immigrants and JFK in 1964, a poignant reminder of Miami's history and diversity.
