This is the best record I have ever heard.
Yee
that's cuz it's the best record ever made :)
Greatness
Goes at the moment as the emergency`s on the planet Earth are rising
WOW
The triplet double stops Tony plays from about 11:55 - 12:05 are so brutal. Absolutely breathtaking arrangement
wrong imagery for McLaughlin - here he is as "Mahavishnu" - with Lifetime, he had longish hair and had not become brainwashed by the Sri Chimnoy cult
Cult? Sri Chimnoy was Hindu - a religion far older than Christianity. Chimnoy hung out with the Pope and Mother Theresa and worked with the U.N. and British Royalty.
He also an artist, poet, composer, flute player, marathon runner and weight lifting champion. You know, kind of like all those other wacky cult leaders. :)
thats a little yellow kit, which he did play on occasion, although not on this session, at least according to the photos on the back of the album
