  • This Video is an add on to the Waypoint Feature on the New DJI Air3 & How it works video from a couple of months ago. In the first video I did not cover how to enter the map when doing a waypoint off-site.
    Notice: New DJI Mini 4 Pro owners. This video will be the same for your
    New Mini 4 Pro. ***
    Thank you for taking the time to watch this video, and if you did, for leaving me a comment. As Always, Be Safe, Fly Safe and Have a Great Day!!

    In essence about the same on the RC N2 with Tablet. This was worth the admission price.

      Thanks for the comment and letting us all know that both controllers appear to work the same on this. Be Safe

    But what if you’re out in the field with no WiFi? Easy. Connect your controller via Bluetooth with your phone. Use the phone network connection to have live maps on your controller. In this way you can create way points on actual maps out in the field. Enjoy!

    Didn't know that. 👍

    That's a cool option but I'd be nervous setting it up like that unless I really knew the area, eh? I finally (for the first time) did a waypoint experiment with the Mini 4 Pro yesterday and made it up with the drone in the air... That was nerve racking enough!!! lol

      I'm betting that you're really enjoying that new Mini 4 Pro🤔. Yes, you're right you should know the area well, safety first. I did mention that in my first video otherwise who knows what would happen!! haha. I have done waypoints both ways on site and off, it's a really neat feature to have. I even used them on a real estate shoot for photos.
      I wish we had better weather so I could fly more often but that's what I get for living in North Dakota 😬🥶. Thanks, I always appreciate your comments 🙂 have a great weekend, be safe and God bless.

    Hello! Thanks for the nice explanation. A question about this... Is it also possible to set Wapoints "on top of each other"? Example: I start at Waypoint A at 10m, fly to Waypoint B at 10m. Waypoint C should be identical in position to B - but the height should increase to 20m. According to the scenario, there should be a vertical climb of 10m at the original Waypoint B.

      I don't know but I am thinking that is possible. The next time I am out I will have to try this scenario. Thanks for the comment. Be Safe.

    Can the drone be set to continue to next waypoint in the route if signal is loss ?

    • @dk4drones
      @dk4drones  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Yes if you are not in the EU. On signal lost your choices are RTH, hover, land, or continue. Again, continue is not offered in the EU. Thanks for the comment, hope this helped, and be safe.
