- Hello this is a video on how to do a budget G 37 and 370 Z build!
In this video, I’m going to showcase on what quality mods you can do for your GZ or Q for cheap but yet very effective ways to mod your car

100% stay away from the Godspeed and eBay coilover equivalents. My Miata came with them, all top hats were broken/cracked, adjusters were seized, bushings gone and the shocks were blown. Another good option is to do a lowering spring with an adjustable shock setup if coilovers aren’t in the budget
i’ve been running the godspeed’s for over 7k+ miles now, no issues. i’ll admit it isn’t the smoothest ride out there but it feels more planted and steering is much better for sure. I do plan on going with tein springs next time, though.

Hey fam, great video as always. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now. Just a few questions
My car: 2011 G37xS Coupe
1. For lowering your car, does it matter if you buy coilovers/lowering spring for specific drivetrain or specific body type?
Eg: Do I have specifically have to buy a coilovers thats for coupe and awd?
Or is generalized fit for all G37
2. Major Maintenance that you’d recommend?
•Gallery Gasket
•Sunroof Drain Plug Clogging
•Heater Core Hose crumbling
Any I’m missing?
And lastly, for transmission maintenance, do I just have to drain and fill or do I have to flush the whole system? What would you recommend?
1. Yes it matters and Go quality ,not cheap (you get what you pay for) coilovers if you plan on getting new wheels/ if want more adjustments with suspension, or if you need new struts. Usually at 100k you could change it.
Or go just springs if you like oem+ look and plan on staying with stock oem wheels
2. You hit on the major points. Im sure there’s a few im missing but I mention them in my other videos. Check em out!
3. Drain and fill ONLY w oem fluid AND if it’s not been serviced at least 50-60k miles, don’t change it.

I went the custom exhaust route from the stockcats back and that’s also a good option you can do

@@tleoipl37 stock cats back , 2.5 pipe , x pipe , vibrant res , muff delete , dual 4.5 tips . Some drone but no VQ trumpet and sounds crazy and pops naturally no tune . So some test pipes / tune would be gg . Check it out got a clip called Infiniti potato quality
@@vciq like the SCS system I would put on a vibrant muffler, otherwise it don’t sound bad but if you add HFC TP it will sound horrible
@@tleoipl37 that’s true ! was thinking berk res TP , but yes I only kept muff deleted because I already had it off as a first mod but for sure will consider a nice muff ! good looks !

another option for exhaust is replacing the resonators with flowmasters flow fx mufflers i like the sound i got and deleting the mufflers
It’s a decent option. I like the SCS custom version better
Sway bars over coils all day. Especially for handling

Yessir and the sprint booster only helps throttle response, it doesn’t give any gains

VQVortex cf steering wheel. But you can get one from jaslico cf on Instagram or honestly go to alibaba and buy them direct from the supplier
Thoughts on K sport coil overs?
Not too shabby. It’s good but I like tein in the 700-900 spectrum better especially if you got rwd

It is best to replace all with oem ones if its bad or very high mileage
the infiniti i’m getting already has a muffler and resonated delete, what should i do to get a quality exhaust noise??
Return it back to stock and not make sound horrible. Buy a quality catback exhaust

Is it possible to be on coilovers and not scrape at all? I put my g on megan racing coilovers, cracked my engine and had to replace the motor

Cheap quality tbh. Heard stories of them failing overtime like truhart ,rev9, raceland etc. cheapest I go with quality wise is tein

i have that doen with my g and imo it doesn’t sound bad with the vibrant resonator
