Thanks for this video and telling us the socket size!
This is for people who is water pressure is too low, right because mines too high that wouldn’t make a difference
Sorry about poor video quality. This quick video shows how to remove screener from water pressure regulator. If your house has a hard water, strainer screen will clog and significantly affect water pressure to your house. Before opening it (~32mm socket), close the inlet valve and bleed out from outlet valve to remove all water.
Thanks for the advice whistle Dixie
Thanks for the info. I found a 1-1/4 in socket worked on mine, for those who are metric-challenged.
Oh snap! That's what that is. Thanks!
I wish our regulator had something like that. According to the spec sheet, ours has one that's integral and internal.
Thanks
Wow 😳
I need oring mines dripping
what is the expected lifespan of these? thanks!
I spoke to a good plumber I have used he said about 8 years which seems kind of short for such an expensive, heavy metal piece, which although I guess it does have moving parts, compared to an engine they don't move much do they?
@@MartyInLa mine already has one year, let's see how it holds, because it wasn't cheap...
@@ImNotADeeJay Yeah, mine was $200 just for the part.
