Today we did a huge setup on the boat, but we didn't;t have another space and time. We literally were kicked out of the boat on 20 minutes earlier.

A client told me to decorate a room a venue with chais covers staches, table decorations and baloons backdrop all in 1 hour, I told her find another person because I'm not doing it. Minimum 2 hours and even that's me stretching my self and my team. We are only 3 and I'm the one with a vision to sort everything out. But it still looked beautiful well done

I always enjoy and admire you work, don’t show something negative about you…. A lot going on the clip we don’t know but as client my privacy is MUST and on my time recordings, shooting, explaining, is a taking away time I’m paying you to do my decorations… not cool or profesional….. as businesses creating person… have time of the essences on writing in a contract specially, plains, boats, live tv, movies recording….. you show up on time and ready to work and they cut the time by 20 minutes…. Not fair….the decorations look great….we don’t know… be proud of you work….some time you have to let it go don’t stress it….
Thank you for your insight. What happened there is not that we wasted our time doing other than work. Simply the captain simply cut our time short without warning ahead. We always make sure we give our best, given the conditions. Working on boats is pretty difficult. Captains, from experience, are never on time, and most of the time, the client hasn’t communicated enough with the captain, and it ends up they are not aware who’s coming to do what on the boat. We usually have to “negotiate” to please both captain with safety of course, and client for having what they expect when they come onboard.
I've had this feeling and I'm traumatized lol I always feel like it's going to happen again! You did a great job! We are our worst critics so don't be too hard on yourselves. They loved it is all that matters in the end!!

I also work with my husband. We've had situations like this as well and it can be frustrating but if the client didn't plan or give correct details, then you can only do your best, and you did. So don't feel like you failed. It still looked beautiful

I used to tell people “One hour is not enough to set up, I can’t do it like that, I’ll have to bring more people to help and that raises the price…or you can talk to the venue for more time” a higher price enough to make a statement on how important is time for a setup.
Normally, the venue gives them more time, for less than what my price was.
Because, if you don’t finish, or something happens, because wasn’t properly secured, there’s lability and your reputation and is the one that suffers.
We do the same, but exactly in this setup, captain decided to leave suddenly. We were supposed to have more time, but it’s ok, job was done, just wish to have more time for a final touch

Hola, ofrecen un curso, me gustan sus decoraciones , pero mis globos se explotan.
Ami me pasaba lo mismo tiene mucho que ver la marca del globo y no los inglés demasiado como si son de 12 pulgadas déjalos en 10 pulgadas. Y no los pongas directo al sol siempre debajo de una sombra. Mi umilde opinión 😉
