That's a damn fine 2. Been waiting on this one. I also am a fan of those '60s league leader cards. You can find some star power, keeping an eye out for a nice 62 AL HR leaders. Good stuff gents.

Koosman really came through for the Mets in key games. Love those 1968 all star cards,collected those when I was eight years old. The Mays and Killebrew and Mantle is one of my favorites, photo taken at a previous all star game at Shea Stadium. HAPPY Thanksgiving!

Really Epic Reveal. So fun to see the grades. Just goes to show us collectors really need to take advantage of the grading scale when we buy cards ya !!! Some 4's look like 8' and some 8's look like 4's ha ha ha. Keep up the great stuff guys love it
For sure double D! It's hard for us sometimes too when sellers try to sell raw cards at 2 or 3 grades above what they will grade.

totally understand G&W!!! we actually go back and fourth on centering. we have def bought better centered lower grades instead of higher grades that are OC.thats what is great about the hobby, collect what you like and prefer.

Nice cards and awesome grades. I agree with your opinion on the '71 Aaron and the Clemente. The Aaron got a higher grade than it should have and Clemente should have gotten a higher grade. It you add the grades together it probably was right for 2 cards, it just wasn't allocated correctly between the cards. The Ryan RC probably could have gotten a half a point better. I hope RN is feeling better now.
great reveal guys, overall some really solid grades. I think all of the 68s except the Ryan rookie could have graded higher they are really sharp-looking cards! Love the 68 Superstars with Killebrew, Mays, and Mantle that is a sweet card. Although your Murray is off center the picture is super crisp and it has great eye appeal. As always enjoyed the video, have a Happy Thanksgiving!

You guys need to send into psa. Have done sgc multiple times and find them the tougher grader by far. I submit cards similar to yours. Give it a shot you'll see

Any Ryan RC is great no matter the grade. I have almost every Ryan card except a 68 RC, when I do buy one it will be a 1-3.
Sgc grades centering harder than PSA.
PSA is all over the place with centering.

SGC grades the 1971 set on a different scale because of the black borders.
That Aaron 71 grade is actually reflective of the real world. Really surprising though, in the grading world that should have gotten like a 1.5

Not sure if anyone has commented on this yet, but the 95 Fleer Jordan in a PSA 9 currently has a POP 389 with an average auction price of $28.64. I have one of these myself, but in a PSA 8.

I think the 10 grading scale is stupid. Too many cards that are graded 6 to 10 look exactly the same condition wise.... A 5 grading scale makes more sense to me. And no annoying half grades.. A near perfect or perfect card gets a 5. very nice card 4. average card 3. obviously worn card 2. and junk cards get 1. the end.

Many of those cards just weren't worth grading. Sure, sub the Nolan, rookie, 60s HOFers, 71 Aaron, but it's really not worth it on any late 70's early 80's era card unless you really believe you can hit a 10. Then at worst case scenerio you hit a 9 and can break even on sub cost. Better off just buying the best card available for around whatever the grading cost would run you. (You can probably find a 76 Aaron in an SGC 6 for under 40, for example). Good luck with your collections. #COGSportsCards #Thanks

I say shooting for a 10 with all my cards I submit 😄I love all the combo league leader cards and the Koufax insert. I think I'm done trying to figure out grading, lol. I usually forget about my grades after a day anyway but as far as criteria they follow I can't figure it out when you compare cards next to each other with grades that aren't close to each other.
