ADHD-PI sufferer here. This song fucking killed me and now I need to know if it's a normal ADHD thing to struggle with expressing emotions, or if that's just another problem to heap on the pile.
I was particularly worried when it was put in a glass…I really hope that was some fake/CGI footage or trickery. 🤞 While I get why they might have found the fish-in-a-bag idea visually interesting or cool, I would have liked for some info at the end, whether it was a real animal in all shots or that it wasn’t harmed in the process, etc. This way I felt very uncomfortable afterwards (and to be honest also during the video).

So I've been following off and on since the Did It To Myself days, &...yeah I think this is my favourite thing Orla's ever done. Just hits and steams on like some glorious 80s nu-wave meets 2000s indie freight train, DANG its good!! & idk if its just me, but I can *really* relate to a lot of the lyrics to my experiences of being autistic & dating - lines like 'It's a good day for a meltdown, all my thoughts getting too loud', 'i can't promise I'll never freak, but I'll try not be a letdown' and just the messy, fuzzy CHAOS of the song is...oof it hits me right where I live. Well done Orla, this is brilliant 💖
