Excellent video - thx for the effort! I find that even in the city when commuting with heavy traffic it is quite useful as it can distinguish up to 8 vehicles. And it is always that one last car you missed that is going to run you down. And sometimes out on country roads - especially with cars that tend to sort of sneak up on you - I tend to get less surprised/shocked from the beep than from a car passing close by which is also a safety feature of its own

Greetings from Thailand. Good video. I am comparing the different radar units available on the market. I am surprised very few people here use a bar mirror or wear bright colored cycling kit. I am continuously looking at my mirror and never leave home with out it. Great for group rides too. The radar would definitely add another layer of safety while cycling. Take care of yourself and stay safe.

Thanks so much. When I first started using radar I didn't have a mirror but it really helps! I think if I was just using a mirror and not radar I would be constantly checking for cars

Thanks for that and for subscribing 👏 I love my radar. I am actually working on a video about my Garmin cycling products and how well they work together

On the road in the city or out in the country you are naturally more careful. You expect cars at any time. On pathways or rail trails you tend to relax and check your mirrors less frequently. This puts you at risk of electric bikes which may be travelling at much greater speeds, and of course not using a bell to warn other cyclists. Just last night I missed being clobbered on a bike path by an e-biker. I like that e-bikes get more people cycling. I don’t like how some e-bikers toss caution to the wind. I am buying a radar.

It comes with a USB cable to charge it. Decent battery but if you are on longer rides or cold weather I bring a battery pack
