She does have a long-term illness and it was more severe when she first appeared. You mustn’t have seen her 2005 episodes if you think this is Jean at her maddest.
linda goodswin They didn't state that all aspects were true-to-life. Just the fact that Jean's condition is pretty accurate down to personal experience of said condition.
Having just reconstructed the story line, after losing track here in the U.S. after the Steve Owen/Mel/nightclub/Phil Mitchell stuff, I have to note that the Sean character made a point of not letting his mother know that he was in Walford until the stupid Ruby let his secret out and forced him. The character obviously had not intended to see his mother again, and after first seeing her, he had a crying meltdown after making sure that his sister was out of sight. It was a good story line, and well acted by all three.
Disgusting vile human this is the stigma of mental health that’s needs to stop. Stop judging people on their mental illness and be compassionate. If you can’t do that then stay the fuck away and leave the person alone

When Jean shouted, Sean pooped himself. LOL!!!
It's hard to notice, with how he stinks so much all the time.
He's so horrible to her in this scene
Kirsty Hert He was horrible to her in general.
He was always horrible to her.

1:18 Sean's wall of bacteria covering his skin functioned like makeshift armour plating, and hurt Jean's hand.

0:48 0:58 1:18 SEAN SCARES JEAN
Gillian Wright is so good as Jean Slater.
Nice.
What date was this aired on?
Press the left arrow key repeatedly at the start of the video.
"You made a mistake"
@@xc_03 I mean press it really fast.
It bloody shows like this that gives people with mental health a bad name
linda goodswin From personal experience, I find this to be pretty accurate.
You and me must be watching a different show if you think eastenders is true to life
linda goodswin They didn't state that all aspects were true-to-life. Just the fact that Jean's condition is pretty accurate down to personal experience of said condition.
Tbh, the one who came out of this looking bad was Sean. This showed Jean as the victim, it didn't give her a bad name at all.
What happened to Jean’s hand anyhow?
omg
"Bit selfish, innit?"
Would you like to be the same as Jean, Sean? Needing tranquillisers for bipolar disorder?

Jeans laugh is so funny haha 😂
It's sad
0:47 Why didn't she like that????
Because she has a bit of a nervous temperament underneath the bipolar.

I don't like Sean Slater in eastenders
