  • In Jesus’ time on Earth, He wasn’t interested in token gestures. He didn’t care about outward behavior. He shook up anyone whose faith was lukewarm, and He brought hope to the broken, the lost, and those tangled in sin by showing them what true worship could be.

    The world, our country, our communities and homes NEED to hear this message. Thank you, pastor! Have a blessed day.

    Pastor Groeschel if Jesus was here He would dismiss a lot of us from the church and congregation because of our nagging disobeodence. People are caught up in to much sin it's plenty that He would have to peel away and undo to free them from bondage. Jesus went out on the limb for the redemption of our soul yet we fail his effort everyday. We got to get it right by lining up with God's will, His word and His way. God bless you, your family and ministry, from your sister in Christ from Hammond, LA.

      No He would not. Jesus does not turn His back on His people. Additionally WE the people ARE the church.

    Awesome... :) I get distracted not by things but by my own problems and lack of solutions I start feeling bad about me focusing on how bad I feel and excusing myself for ignoring everyone... but other people need to be valued and awknoledged

      NO GOD NEED'S TO BE VALUED AND ACKNOWLEDGED
      and is the ONLY ONE MISSING from the messages focus
      I/MY OWN/I/ME/I/MYSELF/EVERYONE/but OTHER PEOPLE
      Please don't get angry just think about the words the focus and bring it back under God's perspective-The Creator of the Universe-The GREAT I AM is much bigger and better than any hip new man stop focusing on man and focus on God and everything will start coming back together.
      I don't know if this message is more for you or for me - hopefully both
      Love and peace be unto you

    After over 25 years devoted to the faith. Craig Groeschel helped make me an atheist. Best decision I ever made and I must give Craig some of the credit. So, thanks Craig.

    • @SilverCyclist
      @SilverCyclist Před 6 lety

      Jenny Rohrer on Father's Day one Sunday, he said "For those without Fathers, God was your father." Stupidist thing I've ever heard. I guess all those times I was alone and wanted a dad. I was just hallucinating. God was as invisible as my real dad was.

      OneLifeCycle I’m really sorry you were without a dad. Father’s Day and Mother’s Day are landmines churches. I really felt your post.

      @@SilverCyclist I second what Melanie said- I'm really sorry too. I've been in that place before where when you're really hurting and the most dangerous place in that moment is actually at church. But I think Psalm 68 has more to say on what God being a Father to the fatherless actually means:
      Psalm 68:5-6 (NIV)
      A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
      is God in his holy dwelling.
      God sets the lonely in families,[a]
      he leads out the prisoners with singing;
      but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
      --perhaps the completed sentence eases some of the sting? That from His heavenly place, God provides as our earthly fathers should have and places us in families (the church) to soothe our loneliness - a loving act of a father who cares rather than one who leaves us bereft- and He does this until He returns; nudging, encouraging, directing, growing and speaking to us in the quiet moments of life. And in the meantime while the church isn't always the best family (it's a bit like a huge family gathering with maaaany of those well meaning but slightly offensive aunties who's cooking is amazing and slightly strange uncles who's career advice are Ted-talk worthy) I guarantee that your tribe is in there- a unit within the family that are those brothers and sisters who will weep with you, fight and pray for you and people who would give you their own beds if you needed a place to sleep.

    My Q is.... Since we know that Jesus is alive IN us, longing to express Himself THRU us, shouldn't the real meaning of: WWJD be; WATCH WHAT JESUS DOES? 😉👍

      @Anna Peachey - I pray when you begin each day, that God blesses you to see the best things are yet to come. May God give you confidence, wisdom and most of all, faith. He is walking with you every step of the way. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen. Walk with Jesus. You’ll never walk alone. Christina - Social Media Engagement Team
