Needed to hear this today. As a wife I easily get selfish and attack my husband for my feelings rather than facts. I forget what he needs as a man. I need to encourage my husband in the Lord, humble myself before God and He will make the crooked paths straight. My insecurities hold me back as the wife I can be.

I have a MS for the last 7 years I have fought like a warrior not believing it would take me down. Now I am primary Progressive MS, deteriorating and I don't have that Warrior spirit anymore. And my husband does not know what to do with me. He is not a Christian. Yes Christian principles. But he does not believe in Christ. How are we going to avenge this situation. I feel he is going to give up on me. Because he always makes his own decisions. Please pray for him. His name is Eric.

Three truths for every hesitant warrior:
1. Every warrior must fight their inner fear of failure
2. In Christ, you have everything you need to fight and win
3. With God, the way forward often starts with a step backward.
The cause of MANY of the differences between men and women is actually caused by the differing effects estrogen and testosterone have on histamine. That weirdo verse in Genesis after the fall about like "your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you" I believe is talking about histamine. Estrogen plus histamine can equal fear, self-doubt, self-criticism, masochism, a desire for your own suffering and humiliation, whereas testosterone plus histamine can equal things more like aggression and violence. Of course men and women are much more than this. Histamine is only one neurotransmitter. But I think it's very important for the world to understand histamine as a neurotransmitter, as it touches so many aspects of human life and in some ways is what the Bible is talking about!
