This video just makes me cry sometimes. Sid is really just such a humble person on top of being such a talented player, and it's so touching to see all the things that he does.
Sid and all of the Pens, they're all just great guys. And this video is just proof. He made all of those kids days, most people will never get the chance to meet a NHL star let alone Sidney Crosby who is one of the best players ever. I don't care if you don't like Sid, he's a great guy and no one can deny that.
I love this. I know some people are saying he wouldn't have done it if there weren't cameras there. But I beg to differ. I met him and he is so down to earth and kind.
I feel for those kids and anyone with cancer and other life threatening diseases . Pens are awesome to spend time with them and help even for a few moments.
What person doesn't melt when you see a man in general light up when they are around children and be so comfortable with them. Wonderful quality to have and makes any man that much more attractive.
He is a great kid and everyone who calls him names and hates hims is simply Jealous, so the more I hear it the happier I am. The great thing is that he does this ALL THE TIME, not just when cameras are following him. He does it for the kids, giving them maybe just one day of cheer, a boost. Smiles may not be the best medicine, but they sure as heck don't hurt!
Wow is all I can say... what a stand up guy. Anyone who says bad things about Crosby should watch this video. Sidney, even though you beat us in the olympics ( Team USA ) LOL... I think you're the best player in the NHL today and this is one of the reasons why. Apart from your amazing talent playing hockey. You're awesome.
@shaniceflynn123 A person's public persona is not necessarily the same when the cameras turn off. Don't get me wrong, I'm not making any presumptions about the guy, I've never met him. In fact, the one person I know who has met him said he was a cool guy. But anyone can go to a children's hospital for good PR.

Blackhawk fan here. In general, hockey players are so generous. The NFL and NBA should learn from this.

the toronto maples leafs did this for me 10 years ago when i was 12. broke my femur and 7-8 leafs came. Joseph, adam mair, kaberle, forget who else.
